Re: 2000 Dodge 2500 - 2WD Diesel 47RE Code
When working for Dodge I had a similiar problem. Found the field wire for the alternator run to close to the APP sensor wire. As the ecm fielded the alt. it created a "false" signal (magnetic field) on the APP causing wierd shift patterns. The changes weren't noticeable on a scanner, sample rate was...

Tim I believe my Snap-On Solus has the "drive sequence" in the trouble shooter section. It details the process in order to drive the monitors for repair verification. If ya like call me with the vin and I will see if I can get it. I will also check iATN.

Re: 2003 Dodge RAM 3500 Van - 5.9L No Start
Did you get comm after you disconnected the cluster? I would plug the cluster back in and see if you can still communicate with the abs and air bag. If so the lean towards pcm. If not lean to the cluster. Odds are it will be the pcm due to the no start.

Re: 2003 Dodge RAM 3500 Van - 5.9L No Start
You have a module that has shorted the BUS line or the BUS line is shorted to chassis somewhere. Begin by unplugging the cluster and see if you get communication. I believe the cluster is the BUS temination. If you get no comm. unplug modules 1 at a time till you can communicate. Plug each module ba...
