Re: Delete Resource? 7.0.11
So there's no way to delete a User-Created resource? I see that in can be set "inactive", but not an option to delete it. Am I missing something?

Re: Stocking Level Above Zero Erroneous Reporting?
Soo....It's been quite some time since I first tried to find a solution to this problem. Still - when I run the report "Inventory Stocking Level Above Zero", it STILL returns a list of every single inventory part that meets that criteria...in addition to DELETED inventory items that once existed in ...

Re: Scheduler Feedback & Requests
When can we see the new scheduler? Last October & at the SEMA show we got pretty excited about it and heard it was supposed to be available 1Q of 2016. Is there any way we can participate in the testing group and start putting it to use?

Re: Parts Inventory Import?
That's exactly what we did, in fact - A local college student offered to be available for "shift work", so we called her, and she spent a few hours data entering at one of our less busy workstations. Aside from a few clerical errors, it all worked out. It was nice to be able to count on someone like...

Re: "Last Visit Date" Reporting incorrectly
I did what I explained - that is, I unposted their actual "Last Visit", and immediately reposted it so it would reflect correctly. The good news is that typically, I would imagine very few people will have the access to unpost invoices anyhow...

"Last Visit Date" Reporting incorrectly
A customer of ours who visits frequently had a question about a previous service we performed for them. In the process of looking over their history, I noticed that the mileage on one of the invoices had been entered incorrectly. It was an obvious typographical error, and one I could fix easily. I u...

So...what do you support, then? I mean to say, what do you suggest?Silky7 wrote:The database is accessible by default. However, we don't support directly modifying the database.

Re: Parts Inventory Import?
How difficult is it to migrate this type of data (with Mitchell support assistance) when we're talking about updating only one aspect of our data? I know it's possible to migrate entire datasets, but that it's more than a few simple clicks. How do I gain access to my own data? It seems as though the...

Re: Parts Inventory Import?
Are you referring to the "Price List Import" feature? "Chris" at Bolton told me that feature would not, in fact, import inventory parts into my system, that it imported data into Propack (??) I first saw that feature in a graphic here in the forums, and as I tried wading through the process, it cont...

Parts Inventory Import?
I was surprised to hear from someone today that it is IMPOSSIBLE to import a list of parts I'd like in my Mitchell inventory. Is that true? Isn't it possible to migrate entire customer databases? I have a list of nearly 150 parts we're now keeping in inventory, and I just hope I don't have to enter ...

Stocking Level Above Zero Erroneous Reporting?
I've been working on cleaning up my inventory list to improve our workflow, and I discovered that any of our "old" inventoried & stocked parts that I deleted (although no longer in the inventory list) are all showing up on the "Stocking level above zero" report. Is there a way to eliminate this so I...

Re: SocialCRM: Appointment Reminders
Would you please recheck this setting to see if it slipped back with 6.6.10? estcrm.png No, it's still unchecked. I just spoke to Brian Warfield who said that after some digging it was determined that the ESTIMATES, while not "shown" on the schedule, are in fact, still on it. It has allegedly only ...

Re: Fleet Reporting Issue
This still hasn't been implemented yet, and would be useful to many, I think. The Mitchell Manager already lets us assign up to 7 "Marketing Groups", but there's no way to report on them, making the information accessible/valuable. Any word on whether this is still in the works? CUSTOMER TAB ----> MA...

SocialCRM: Appointment Reminders
Ok, so maybe someone out there can help with this issue we're having with the appointment reminders portion of SocialCRM... Soon after signing up for SocialCRM I began receiving calls from customers who were puzzled as to the nature of an email I sent them, reminding them, of an appointment that sim...

Our system as well. Running 6.6.9. Columns affected seem to be License, Color, and Promise Date...funny to see them pop up where they choose every time we start the software!

Re: Fleet issue
It sounds like the best work-around so far, in lieu of a real solution, Tim. The challenge there, of course, is that there's no flag that mandates the SOURCE code on any given repair order, and a service adviser forgetting to set the code, much less set it correctly to give credit to the outside sal...

Exporting COMPLETE Customer Contact Data
I asked this before, but sadly, I still haven't found the solution I need - Someone her once helped me to run a report that could be used to export a complete customer contact database. That is, one that could export to excel in relatively clean format, and include the following: Name, Address, City...

Fleet Reporting Issue
In setting up SocialCRM for my shop, I was asked if I wanted my settings to "Exclude fleets with ## of cars or greater" What field controls whether a customer record is considered a "Fleet", and how do I report on my fleet sales only? All I can find is the report allowing me to see which customers a...
