Re: Parts Matrix

I am not sharing mine, but I will say that I think you can be a little more aggressive. I don't get down to 100 markup until I reach 300. My lowest is 67%. Bear in mind I have a separate matrix for dealer parts and I use the built in tire matrix as well. No worries, it seems quite different dependi...

Parts Matrix

Hi All, Would anyone be willing to post their Parts Matrix? If you adhere to it and am happy with it, I wouldn't mind taking a look. I've just adjusted mine for about the 10th time, but I'm curious as to what you have it set to in yours as it's nice to compare a little. Here's mine. 2021-01-20.png

Re: Email Programs We Can Use?

Okay thanks for that. I'm using Outlook with no issues with Mitchell, but good lord what a mess otherwise. Thunderbird is also a great program from what I've seen.

Email Programs We Can Use?

Hi Folks,

I have been using Outlook to email customer invoices. I have tried using Windows Mail after setting the default email program to Windows Mail, but it doesn't work. Can someone tell me if it is possible to send customer emails using a non pc based email program?

Thanks, Jeremy

Re: Any Chance of the Cloud

I just wanted to chime in on this one. I had the same thoughts about Mitchell being cloud based, and after quite a few years on and off with Mitchell, I switched over to AllData Manage Online that is cloud based a little over a year ago. Looking back, I didn't need the cloud at all but I thought it ...

Re: Scheduler gripes (yet again)

Bruce, I'll have one of our technicians that specializes in assisting with the new Schedule setup and training reach out to you. He called and it ended up being very frustrating and him saying his supervisor asked him to terminate the call. First off I know I can be stubborn and somewhat difficult ...

Re: SE 7.0 Scheduler Workflow

It is not possible to offer a switching between schedules, as the amount of data saved is completely different. However, we are re-organizing the Appointment tab to give you a much cleaner, quicker at-a-glance view of your appointments. It will be very similar to the information as it was presented...

Bolt On Reviews

Afternoon,

I have been looking at the Bolt On products and they seem pretty darn cool. Can anyone elaborate on the benefits that they have seen? It would be a lot of money for me per month and of course I would want to see great returns for my investment.

Thanks,

Yes thanks I have but neither of them worked. Sorry for the late reply. I'm on the phone with Mitchell right now so hopefully they can sort it out.

NAPA Autocare Pre-Printed Invoices?

Hi Folks,

I am a NAPA autocare facility and I can get pre-printed invoices from them but I am unable to configure my printer to correspond with the invoices. Are any of you using them? I'm still waiting for an answer from NAPA.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Re: 1990 Ford Truck

This wont decode in Mitchell or Shop Key Pro online. Decodes just fine in Napa and Identifix. Whats the deal? 2FDLF47G0LCA39993 Hi Crescentbunny, Just a thought but it may be a Canadian vehicle? Seeing's how I am a Canuck I frequently run into the same situation where Mitchell will not decode but N...

Discounts

I have a discount set up for 10% off parts and labor. When I want to apply the discount I just click on the Promo tab, discount then click and it transfers over. However, if I am doing more work on this vehicle under the same invoice as my discounted oil change it will apply the 10% to everything wh...
