Horizontal View Mockup
Mitchell, is this possible? 1. Makes it easier to click on an area to start an appointment. 2. Doesn't show Sunday if it's not listed as a day you are open. 3. Shows business name if it's entered 4. Shows the vehicle if selected 5. Shows the note if entered (the first # of characters anyhow) 6. If y...

Delete Resource? 7.0.11
I added a couple Resources to test things, and now that i want to use them for something, i can't delete the one that i don't want to use. Any way to do this? I've setup the resources to use as Waiting and Drop Offs since adding a dropped off vehicle makes the schedule hard to read/use. So now i hav...

Thank you!
I don't believe that Supercede will work with a catalog import, only if you enter the part number manually.
When did that option get added for look for other part numbers?

Re: Supersede/Alt Parts when importing from Napa Prolink
ok, i think i have figured out the source of my problems, but i'm not sure how to fix it. If you enter the new part, and use the old part number in the ALT PARTS, it will choose the new part when you add from the online catalogs EXCEPT if the line codes are different. So for an oil filter #1191 with...

Re: How/where to catalog shop expenses?
Not in Mitchell, you will need to do that in Quickbooks or something, Mitchell isn't setup for that. I would contact your accountant about that, ours pulls the info from the bank statements, while not specific as paper, if we buy from an office supply company she knows that it's very likely office s...

Re: Quick Estimate Button
Michael, thank you for the reply. I completely understand how to change from 4 to 8 or 9 sub-estimates, but if i close the program and reopen it i have to go through and rest them all over again. It would be helpful if we could select the default number of estimates, but that's minor in the grand sc...

Quick Estimate Button
What are the chances of getting a Quick Estimate Button added to make use of the All Sub Estimates report, this is what we use to upsell to customers?
Also, any way to change the default number of items included on the All Sub Estimates from 4 to 8 or 9 revisions?

Oil Filters are where we are running in to the biggest issues too, We changed over from the Proselect to the Gold on a lot of our filters and have been having issues ever since.

Supersede/Alt Parts when importing from Napa Prolink
Here is an example of what i'm trying to do and i can't seem to make it happen correctly. Old part # 1234 New Part # 5678 When i log in to Napa Prolink and look up the part (that we stock and have in inventory) sometimes we forget and select the old part. Re: Editing Customer Phone Numbers
Can't you just make the extension field allow more than 5 characters, seems like this would be a quick fix/work around.

Enter a Part Kit# as a Part#
When you enter a Part Kit# in the Part Number field (after clicking on the Part Button on the Order/Revision Screen) it should bring up that Part Kit. Example. Click on Part Button Enter ATF in the Part Number Field, Hit Tab or click on the Description, Parts kit named ATF should pop up allowing you...

Re: TIRES
I created a Category for Tires, as well as Account for the GLCode for Tires,
When ever i add a new tire to the database i also select Tires for the Category and Account.
this doesn't help with the invoice calculations, but does with reports ect.

on the order tab click on Options in the bottom right

Revision Strategy
What i do is use the revision tabs for every estimate that i make, and i don't transfer them to the order tab to create an estimate (with est#) until i have the car at the shop. This is done for people that walk in wanting pricing on things, or phone calls, ect. If i wrote a 'quote' for every estima...

Re: Apply Discount Coupon?
you can also just add a $40 credit on the customers account (customer tab under payment status on the upper right) and apply it at check out, This will not show as a yelp coupon, or discount, but will take the correct amount off the ticket with out affecting taxes. If you setup the payment option to...
