Re: Deleting Recommendations by description
Sorry, I took it that he meant that perhaps back in June they inspected the car and recommended a brake fluid flush, which the customer declined. Then they inspected again in September and made the same recommendation that the customer declined again. Another inspection in Feb making the recommendat...

Re: Deleting Recommendations by description
I know this doesn't help with the problem at all, but we have the same situation in using the tablets, inspecting every car, and ending up with multiple recommendations from previous visits. Just curious, would you not want to leave the old recommendations on their file so there is a record of how l...

Re: 2016 Re-Order Revision Tabs
You are correct. I should have mentioned I was printing from bolt-on's report pro software. Perhaps is would be easier for them to capture the information and rearrange it rather then actually moving it around in Mitchell itself

Re: Re-Order Revision Tabs
I'd like to see this, too. Sometimes our customers would like print outs of the recommendations with prices, so they can plan ahead and budget. When I have air and cabin filters on revision 1 and leaking steering rack and brakes on revision 2 & 3, it would be nice to reorganize those in order of imp...

Re: Scheduler Workload Visibility
I believe the plan is to implement Symptoms on the appointment next. Thanks for your feedback though. It is always helpful to our Product Management when deciding on what should be worked on next. Why would you need to add those functions to the appointment scheduler- when creating an estimate or r...

Re: Repair Link not receiving vehicle info
I experienced this same thing this morning. 2013 LS 460 shows up, I grab my tablet and walk out to the vehicle. I enter the license plate, hit decode in mobile manager, and it populates all the information. An hour later, I click on repair link catalog to look up some parts and it asks for either th...

Re: Back Up Monitor Aplication
Dang Silky7, you're the man! It does show a green circle with a white check mark now. Weird though, since I didn't change anything yesterday or today. Either way, thanks for all the input. Kudos to Silky7!

Re: Back Up Monitor Aplication
Thanks Ric, I'll give that a shot later today and see what I can come up with. I do find it a little strange that this started happening, but I haven't changed any settings (knowingly) the last couple of weeks.

Re: Bolt On Reviews
If used properly, the ROI is outstanding. Definitely take advantage of their free training. I've had the bolt on package for a little over 6 months and I'm still learning new things. Partly because they are always adding new features, which is great. I would not imagine ever running my shop without ...

Re: Back Up Monitor Aplication
Thanks... So since I am the IT guy essentially, does anyone have any recommendations that may have seen this problem before or can recommend how to find and choose an IT guy?

Back Up Monitor Aplication
Noticed this morning that I have a red circle with a white X in the middle in my task bar. Called tech support and they clicked around and said it must be my firewall blocking that application at night. Told me I needed to get an IT guy to fix it. I thought that's who I was talking to? He said ports...

Re: Time Clock Feature
Mike, please please please tell me that LPM add on is something temporary until bolt on comes out with their own time clock feature!
I have are hard time paying LPM the same amount I pay for mobile manager when all they do is let techs clock in and out on tickets!

Re: Looking For User Feedback On Report Pro & Lube Pro
Love em. Couldn't imagine not using bolt ons service. I would recommend getting their whole pro-pack (lube sticker, report pro, and message manager pro) along with mobile manager. Definitely have you and your staff sit down and take the training. I hear they may be adding a time clock feature soon

Re: Time Clock Feature
I second this. However, if you search the forums, you will see this has been requested for years with nothing being done... Edit: I didn't realize this was in the bolt-on section. I think we're more likely to see the time clock function from bolt-on than we are mitchell through their mobile manager ...

Re: New Plate Decoder Allows Duplicate VIN
Yes, this would be a big problem, especially in states like TX, where the state issues you new plates every few years, regardless of a new vehicle or not

Re: Errors in Fluids Section?
Makes sense. Have we thought about a feed back button built in to the actual manager application? Vehicle information could be filled in there along with the issue being experienced. That would still be easier than opening up the forum, signing in, creating a new topic about the issue we are seeing,...

Re: Errors in Fluids Section?
Might be useful to create a feedback button into the estimator/fluid/maint/parts/labor module where when we notice something wrong, we can click and send feedback immediately
