Is there any thoughts off adding a specs for torque or any such stuff the techs would need for doing the job instead of having to open up pro demand where we can just transfer the info over like Engine Oil or any fluids
I'd say this would be very helpful.

Re: 1997 Buick Park Ave - Replace EVAP Core
I ran a quick estimate on this job and came up with just under 1400.00. My labor for just replacing it was 7.5 them I added and hour for cleaning the ventilation system of and oil etc., The removal didn't allow for a system charge so I added that in also. No I do believe that there was a system ins...

Re: Fax
If you can open say a Word document or PDF on your computer and print to the fax driver (effectively faxing it), you should be setup far enough to get it working from Manager. In Manager simply go to File > Print Setup. Move the bullet down to Fax Printer and select that same fax driver from that d...

Re: 1997 Buick Park Ave - Replace EVAP Core
The information for replacing the evaporator core is in the repair information. The labor "guide" gives you the time to do the job if everything is perfect. On a 20 year old vehicle they need to understand and be told that it may need additional parts or labor. Correct, but it left out having to ta...

Re: 1997 Buick Park Ave - Replace EVAP Core
Well the problem with the estimator they're going off time of not taking out the carrier, but you have no choice but to take out the carrier and that itself is a 6 hour job plus taking out the EVAP Coresteven kiser wrote:I would add about an hour to that. Any vehicle 10 years or older I add for age.

Re: 1997 Buick Park Ave - Replace EVAP Core
Yeah, this was a complete mess, you have to remove the carrier in order to take out the Evap Core, 5 hours is really light on time. Mitchell Ultramate (collision estimator shows 7.5 hours)

Re: 1968 Dodge Charger R/T
I'm no mechanic, so I wouldn't say with any certainty. :P Logically I'd say if you think the components you're working with are largely unchanged between the model years, it does at least give you a place to start. Maybe you could outline the work and see if one of the other forum members can help ...

With the inventory part, will this update us when we're running low on an inventory? Or is there a different way of doing this now?

wow, now I feel dumb, reason why it wasn't finding them is because the inventory part was not selected.

Do you have the right ones marked, like in that picture I posted?nickscarcare wrote:As I explained, when we go to the WIP screen it only shows "tom" or whatever name we put in there. No longer displays company name.

Re: Email company
We email different companies the invoices, problem is to email, there has to be a name in the customer name part. Then when you go out of it in the WIP screen is only shows the name, not the company. Is there a way to have this fixed so it recognizes the company name as a field to email and not hav...

Re: Invoicing our own vehicles for resale
We buy and sell used vehicles. I make a work order for all of the work we do on each vehicle so we can track expenses for each one. This leaves us with a balance owing at the end of the month that would require us to pay ourselves to clear up the amount owing. How does everyone work around that? Do...
