Scheduling

Post by TommyO »

To avoid overbooking or crammed schedules we would like to have a tool that would allow us to block out certain times of certain days. For instance. If my "A" tech is going to be out a week from this Friday we would like to be able to page ahead to that day in the scheduler and block out, or at least highlight a note that says. "Scott out this afternoon."

The same for vacations. If one of my techs tells me he wants to take the 2nd week of July for a vacation week we want to be able to skip ahead to that week and highlight a note to the effect that we are one man short that week.

Welcome to the Forum.

You can do that now. Go to the day where you want to add a tech who's on vacation. Click on Add. Then put the info in. We have a category called Vacation.

This is how it looks after it's entered.

This loads the day so you don't schedule additional hours. If you have 3 techs billing 8 hours a day, then one tech out is 8 hours.
