We run a small used car lot and we have work orders for those cars listed as the car lot being the owner. Once the new owner takes over we change it back in the system so the history stay with the vehicle. However sometimes the customer has to bring the vehicle back for a repair that the car lot is paying for not the customer and I always have to do a change of ownership first in order to bill it out to the car lot.
Is there any easier way to go about doing this?

Re: CAR LOT VEHICLE TO CUSTOMER
Have you thought of adding a new payment type.....say "Car lot payment"? Just leave the customer name on the invoice but have the car lot pay for it. That way you can track it by payment type.

Re: Car Lot Vehicle To Customer?
Looks like that's the way I'm gonna have to do it. We have car lot set up as a charge and if I add a pay type it only gives me the option of cash, check or credit card. Which makes it kind of a pain. It is what it is.
Thanks!!
