2003 Chev C4500 - Duramax Codes?

Any one know how to retrieve codes off this truck besides factory scanner? Have a OTC genysis

I am not sure what is meant, but I have a MAC Mentor PRO and have no difficulty with them. We get the codes the same way we do any other brand.

Should be able to use an OBD-II plug and if the VIN entry doesn't work, just enter it for a 3500 pickup. That's what I do on my MODIS when a 4500 or 5500 comes in. Never used a Genysis.

On the ones I have seen the OBD plug is right beside the round heavy duty plug under the dash somewhere above the accelerator pedal.
