More info Please
Rules For WRENCH - Must Read BEFORE Posting
by timbre4 on Wed Feb 24, 2010 10:00 pm

Due to an increase in the number of incomplete repair postings, I'm posting some rules to improve the situation.

If you are posting a repair question in a WRENCH topic to get help, please keep the following in mind:

1. Your post should include an informative Subject Line and as much detail as possible in the first post.
Subject: Year, Make & Model - Eng size + code and/or specific problem
example: 2005 Ford Mustang - 4.6L P0757 shifts poorly
Post: This should contain a detailed description of a) when it happens, b) what you've already tried, etc.
example: This problem occurs in drive between 45-55mph; we have checked the main gizmo and also the rear doomaflatchie and they appear to be operational. Any ideas?

2. You will likely get a response within an hour or two; sometimes in 10 minutes. Be prepared to answer ASAP.

3. We expect followthrough, courtesy and communication! Everybody here is giving of their time and attention, please respect that.

We also like marking these repair topics as FIXED which makes them even more valuable for all who follow; with your help, we can get more of these! Thanks in advance.

More information would be cool. I've had mucho problemo's with the fuel pump driver modules on these. They live behind the LR wheel over the frame and tend to corrode and split open. Most of the units I've replaced were for a no start and no power to the fuel pump.
