2002 Lexus RX300 - Yaw Rate Sensor

2002 Lexus RX300 - Yaw Rate Sensor
Anyone know where the Yaw rate sensor is on an '02 RX 300? Mitchell says it is at the left rear--SURE!!!

This is the best I could find, I have never looked for one yet. Hope this helps...

I have the same pic as shown above. I've usually found these under the center console between the seats bolted to the floor. Has to be on centerline with the vehicle. The pic shows it more aft, but usually it's equidistant from the all the wheels.

We have seen some different issues with these on Lexus. Most of the time, we recalibrate them, and the code goes away. These technically should be re-calibrated after an alignment. Let me know if this helps.

I did locate the sensor between the rear seat and the trunk. A pain to get to. I recalibrated the sensor previous to accessing. Code was still present. I removed the sensor, checked wires, connections and resistances and all checked good. Re-installed the sensor and the code was gone. I can only assume the connection at the sensor was compromised.
