# next to name

When printing an invoice we get a # next to the customer name. Ive never noticed this before. How do I stop it?

is it possible that the number is the customer number or a "membership" number?

That looks like a system generated Customer #; looking at this INV template on 7.0.1 it is down on it's own line below the phone numbers preceded by Cust ID: 6182 (example)

It looks like it is the customer # but why all of the sudden it appears on the invoice next to there name im not sure.

That is indeed the Customer ID number. It was consolidated into the customer line for the purpose of taking back some space for the other changes made to the template.
