Telephone List - entering information

Is there a trick or key combination in the Telephone List to allow you to keep typing customer information? As it stands now, you have to click on the phone # field next to Home, Office, Spouse, etc. then type in the phone number. Then you have to click the ext.field and enter any associated info. Then you have to click the Notes/Name field to enter information. I've tried tab and right-arrow, no luck.

It's not an ideal experience in 7.2.9. Since your post indicates learning towards keyboard shortcuts, I can say there is a way. Once in the phone list, try tab 3 times. You should notice a border highlighting the phone number box. Then you can input the number. However, getting from field to field is still tricky. I'd probably not bother to getting used to this. It's different (and much more like what you're expecting) in 7.3.
