Just caught something... When creating a new symtom seems like the description is grabbing the "short Description" instead of the actual symptom...

Interestingly, I'm not seeing that same behavior when I make a new symptom. If you're already on 7.2.8 or 7.2.9, you probably want to give our support a call when you have time. If you're on an older version, updating should be the first priority.
