Plate-Decode issue?

Post by Rich »

Michigan plate # CJB9033 I ran it and it decoded to a previous vehicle here, it shows:

DZX7907 - MI - 2004 Honda CRV JHLRD788X4C042603 Whaley Chip

However, the CRV this tag is on is a 2015 VIN 2T3DFREV7FW320900 (owned by Andy Kantar)

So....neither the plate or the VIn between these two match. Any ideas why it would do this?

Update, i do see that the 2004 CRV (Whaley) DID once belong to the owners (Kantar) of the 2015.

What confuses me is that neither the plate or the VIN match between the vehicles. The only thing that ties these two together is the last name.
