How do I remove the techs name at the bottom of the invoice?

There may be some templates that don't include the tech. Which one are you using?

We do not put the Tech name into the system. We give each tech a number... 100, 200, 300, 600 etc. Only we know what those numbers mean. So we can look back & see who did the job before if needed, but the names do not print on the invoice... only the numbers do. Works for us!

Excellent idea with numbers as opposed to names. I use codes other places but haven't at this level but am now.

I'm curious. Why would you not want your techs name on there? Is there something I'm missing?

One thing I've heard in regards to this concern of having a tech appear, is the avoidance of the tech doing side-work. Although I don't think this is a widespread issue, it has been brought up before.

We use tech numbers because it is faster for the guys to write those & easier for the front office to recognize. We have a couple techs whose names are similar. Plus we have always given them numbers...
Another reason, is that if the customer has a complaint, that complaint or problem goes through the front office instead of to the tech. Lets them work & us handle the problems.
