Price Lock

Is there any way to lock pricing for labor and parts? I feel that this is or would be a great feature where it would take a manager override to adjust any pricing for labor, inventory, or parts transferred in.

At this time you may password protect Add/Edit/Delete for both Canned Jobs & Parts Kits. This means that the contents and details as defined can be protected; but once it hits the Order or Revision grid they become order lines and can be changed as needed. Some shops will comment about the need for flexibility and not incurring delays in completing steps in the workflow.

NOTE: In terms of pricing for inventory parts, there is an Inventory Price Deviation report that tracks when an item is NOT sold for the calculated price expected.
