Shop Supplies

Post by mmrepair »

I am sure there is a simple answer but is there a way to adjust shop supplies for certain services? Say tires for instance?

No, you cannot adjust supplies by service. But you can add specific fees to tires. That may accommodate your need.

One alternative is to create a part record or Part Kit (detailed items) to address the variance, just changing the priced as needed. Point the account class revenue to Shop Supplies instead of parts so that the SS dollars collected are counted as such. Downside: This item will appear with the parts listed on your invoice instead of the Shop Supplies order total. Probably best to go all one way or the other.
