Export Report File Type (Change Defaults)

Post by bonabros »

Would love to see an option when exporting reports to have it always save as a .pdf. Currently, it defaults to .rpt which I never use.

I searched and the only conversation on the topic was about emailing to other people (invoices, ROs, etc.) I export numerous statements each month in .pdf format to send to customers. I can setup my pdf program as my default printer, but it's a hassle to have to change it back and forth.

Is this option already available and I am missing something?

Thanks

This has been discussed a few times before. It makes sense to me. It IS on the enhancement request list already.

Here is a link to a thread from earlier this year. Apparently not an easy thing to accomplish.

Thanks for the update! I'm sure my customers will look forward to not receiving .rpt files in the future :)
