Carquest - Brakes?

Post by Rich »

I have tried multiple times to quote brake jobs, we use CarQuest pads. When i go to look the job up...... job packages, brake system & wheel bearing packages, front brakes-pads and rotors or Rear brakes-pads and rotors.... it brings up brake related chemicals! If i use the long way i can look up pads, but when search for rotors (front or rear) i get a "no part results found".

Any one else having this issue?

I wish I could help. I no longer have any Carquest vendors.

Hi Rich,

We tried replicating the steps you've provided using our demo credentials. Our results are what you are expecting to see (brakes, rotors, and fluids) for both by the job and using the search feature. We'll try and follow-up with you today to see if there is something else we may be overlooking. This is possibly an issue on the vendor side.

If you're bored, in Carquest look this up for me...

2011 Ford F350 super duty, 6.2L. take a peak at exhaust. One question is body, 2dr, 4dr, 4dr super cab etc, etc. Next question is Wheelbase, but every option is blank! Been this way as far as I can remember

Ah yes, the invisible selector options. Interestingly enough, choosing any option seems to return the same results (at least for this vehicle). This catalog is certainly overdue for an update. We are in the process of updating the way catalog integration works and will make it easier for vendors to make changes with little to no user interaction required.
