Getting error when I try to edit batch for Inventory part.

I go to Setup from the home ribbon | Inventory Materials | Bring up the Inventory Material Card for the part | Click on the Batch tab | Click Edit Batch from the ribbon | change price from $2.40 to $2.60 and I get an error message that I cannot edit batch from a recount or returned item.
Go to history and look to see if there was a recount done to bring the part in or was it moved to inventory from the RGB then the system will not allow you to Edit the Batch. You will need to recount down the batch then bring back in at the correct cost.
