1997 Ply Voyager - A/C + Recirc Buttons Flashing FIXED

Post by pitcrewllc »

Vehicle: 1997 Plymouth Voyager
Engine: 2.4L

Vehicle came in with a no start problem, customer could start vehicle when jumped.
Customer Stated Battery Light was on and Instrument Cluster was acting irratically.

Tech found corroded battery cable terminals to be cause of condition.

Now the HVAC Control Center Buttons are Flashing, The A/C Button and Recirc buttom, both flash together at the same time with no end until key is shut off.

Any help would be appreciated as to what causes this.

If your refrigerant is correct, you need to do a cool down test.

Set blower on high
Set mode to panel
Open all ac outlets
Set temp to full cold
depress wash and AC simultaneously for 5 secs

Oh, and as to what causes this, it was probably the loss of battery. It tends to mess with the calibration.
