Re: Inactive Employee / Ex employee
Then why is there a "Discharged Date" option? We also have some long term jobs which the tech was assigned to, the tech cannot be deleted if he/she is still assigned to a job. This means our shop project truck which could take the better part of a year will lock that employee in until such time the ...

Inactive Employee / Ex employee
Since we moved over to Mitchel we have a few employees move onto other things. We have set them as inactive and set a released date, how the employees still show up as technicians on the "tech drop down" in labour lines. We don't want to delete them as then there would be no record in the system as ...

Re: Parts Confirmation?
While on the topic of parts, is there any possibility of adding part location? It would be very nice to be able to click the part and quickly view where it is located. We have over 120 bins dedicated to FoMoCo alone... it would sure save a lot of time.

Re: How To Manually Turn Part Line Blue?
If parts are added to an RO then "pick list"/PO is used.. in this instance I don't understand why the line does not change. Even though the vendor is not electric the system has still cut a PO that is linked to the part # and to the RO...

Re: Manager SE 7.1.7 Release Feedback
Possible glitch? Scenario - Creating quote in RO screen and converting to EST does not update in the scheduler anymore. There are times we will use the quick quote option if we feel the customer is just fishing. If they call back we will convert the quote to an estimate and add in the customer info....

Parts Confirmation?
Just wondering about the check box beside a part in Mobile Manager. One would think it would check off the "confirmed" box in Manager SE however it seems to be stand alone to bolt only. Is there anyway this can be linked? Often we will use the tablet to pull all of the parts required for a job as re...

Re: SE 7.0 Scheduler Workflow
Dragging Appointments to an alternate Labor Tech on the Schedule will modify all Labor Techs on the attached order please don't do this.... or allow it to be toggled off. the "auto tech update" thing has been a major PITA as is. If you accidentally hit the "tech column" and the scroll wheel the tec...

Re: CORES?
I gather then I am not missing anything then. that's very disappointing as we were sold on this system as having core tracking ability. What it appears we actually received is a quasi core tracking system which was 50% completed and simply left to die. Do we know if a completed version is in the wor...

CORES?
Ok so bare with me here please.. I'm trying to wrap my head around the core system but I'm hoping somebody may have a little insight. Here's what we have so far. Scenario #1. Part Cost $100, core cost $51. Part is received at the correct cost of $100 via PO (PO does NOT prompt to receive a core). Ma...

Every few days I have to recheck "mark all ROs as printed". Is there a way to stop this from resetting itself constantly.

Re: Handling Work Overflow?
Well it was working? When setting a block for 10am on Thur ending at 2pm on Friday the appointment automatically jumps to all day ignoring the multiple hours the job is not booked for. Pushing the appointment past 5pm still does not live update and carry to the next day. The only ones which have car...

Handling Work Overflow?
It seems that if a job runs past the 5:00 close time the scheduler simply pushes the job to what ever "time" it should be completed. In other words with the hours set 8:30am-5pm and the visible screen set the same.. a job that is 4 hours long and started at 4:00pm shows an end time of 8pm.... well p...
