Part ID for Inventory Material

What is the use case or purpose of creating Part IDs on an Inventory Material record?

Would be ideal to integrate our current payment processor into this.

Re: WIP - Parts

I do not believe this report exists in either Manager SE or Report Pro, although I've frequently thought it would be really helpful to have this. The closest report would be "Pick List" under Inventory , although this does not show Parts on Est/RO/Inv's that have enough QOH to cover the quantity on ...

Re: Closed PO Report

If there is any way I can get an updated report in the mean time I would appreciate it. We are now verifying all incoming vendor invoices to the closed PO's at the end of the day, and this report would be incredibly helpful for this process.

Closed PO Report

The "Purchase Orders - Closed" report shows a "P.O. Closed" date, which is not actually referencing the date the PO became "Closed." It seems to be referencing the original order date.

Re: Committed & Confirmed Parts

The above is correct. The issue I'm running into is on Repair Orders that were previously Invoices, and have been converted back to an RO. Committed is no longer a checkbox option on Parts - only Confirmed is an option, as if the RO is still an Invoice.

Committed & Confirmed Parts

There seems to be an issue with committed and confirmed parts when converting from an Invoice to an RO. When a part is "Committed" on an Approved Repair Order, it will then become "Confirmed" when it becomes an Invoice. However, if you switch back to an RO, that part is no longer considered "Committ...

Re: Correcting Previous Mileage Error

There are 2 workarounds for this: either "Un-Post" the invoice (and choose "No" when it asks if you want to update prices) and re-print, or you can temporarily shut off the "In Mileage" invoice validation under Setup, and then print.

Re: Backdate invoices

Invoices show 2 dates: "Printed Date" and "Work Completed". The latter is the date of when the invoice became "printed" which you can edit on the WIP screen by selecting the order and clicking "Detail" on the bottom right. From there, you can change "Completion Date/Time" to the actual day. Perhaps ...

Re: Automatically Adjusting Labor Rate for All of a Certain

You can't do a batch update on entire Makes of vehicles, but you can set the default labor rate on a specific vehicle to your European rate so you don't have to remember to change every line item every time there's an RO.

*URGENT* Manager License Expiring

I'm receiving a notification that our Manager license is expiring in 1 day. We are open tomorrow (Saturday 1/19) and cannot have our program going down. Is there someone who is able to contact me to ensure service is continued?

Thank you.

Returns

Is there any way to manually adjust entries to the Inventory Returns report/object? For example, if I accidentally return something that needs to stay in the shop, other than "returning" a negative quantity, is there any way to edit these lines?

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Average car cycle time

I'd be happy with a time duration from converting to a repair order to posting an invoice. This is already captured in the program. When are you in WIP screen, you can select "Details" on a specific Order, and it will show "Time In" and "Completion". These are the two times you're looking for. "Tim...

Re: Order to Estimate

Instead of copying and pasting the individual line items you want to transfer, or shuttling them through a revision, I recommend selecting the order lines and creating a Special Order (under the Edit Menu). This Special Order can then be converted to an Estimate or RO.

Can you expand on this further? This is interesting if I'm understanding it correctly.

Report Output

The new report called Tire Sale/Qty/Profit has an amazing output where each field is filterable inside the report itself. Please update all other reports to this!!
