I use the customers last name as a po for my tire, wheel, lift kit. I had a wheel recall for Moto Metal 909 skull wheels in 8 lug. When the vendor sent me the recall notice and a copy of the invoices I had purchased the affected on. There was the customer last name. Bazinggg.

Re: Loyalty Program
Marc, this program kinda works like a reloadable gift card. I like the idea. you add the invoice dollars spent, does it give you the option for a reference number eg. using the invoice number. Do you add the credit to the card, or is it done from the company?

Re: POLL: Labor Pricing in Manager SE
I read the thread this is referring to. Here is my nickel. I think the skill level of the technician should meet or exceed the skill level for the job. eg lof, i am paying 24.95 for an oil change whether a tech with a skill level of an oil changer or the best electronics trouble shooter does it. You...

Re: Battery Recycle Fee [Texas]
I agree with Jeff and Silky. I created a separate item, category, and gl code to keep the NJ tire fee separate from everything else. This makes it easier to pop up on any report I could use to see tjre fee

I have stopped using the "spouse" block. I enter Jack & Jill as the first name. It has stopped many confusions, and issues mailing out Christmas Cards.

Re: Spouse Name on Invoice
Hello and welcome to the forum. I do not agree with using the ampersand while addressing a husband and wife. The Nuns made us write out "and" we were not to use numbers (2) we had to write the word (two) in our formal letters or essays. To quote Sister William Adelle, " Short cuts will result in you...

I told him to use the GL report. He wanted it on the SRS report. I told him we needed to upgrade to the new system.

Tire Fee or Tax on Sales Receipt Summary
The bean counter would like to see the tire fee/tax (1.50 per unit) on the sales receipt summary report. I told him it was there, it is not listed as a tax, it is listed as a part. He said it must be a tax. The only tax I see in set up is %. Is there a way to get the tire fee/tax?

Re: Accounts Receivable
There is an issue. I just got off the phone with Kay. When she is in batch payment. She posts a payment larger than the invoice amount. The remainder goes in the "on acct" box. The problem is.....The credit does not go to the customer. It just disappears. The credit amount does not show up in the cu...

Re: Accounts Receivable
Hello, I may be able to shed some light on your question. part 1. For some reason any payment made that resulted in a credit with an invoice number, or any refund issued with an invoice number shows up as a credit amount on the Accounts Receivable Aging Summary forever when it was applied to an invo...

I would politely tell him we only warranty parts sold and installed by our shop. He would have to go back to the shop he bought it from for any warranty claims. Did you see what he paid? was it less than you quoted?

Re: Line Spacing On Tech Worksheet?
I agree, at-least 1 line would be great. we could name it spaced out tech worksheet. it should follow the same template as the enhanced. right now I have the tech write a number in the check box. then use that number on the notes line (bullet style) to address this issue. Just a little work around f...

Report: Customer Without First Name?
The gremlin is adding ghost customers when he is looking up a current customer. I am finding last name only accounts (many). When the pop up comes "do you want to ad new customer" he does not read. He just clicks yes. I found a few created while I was at work shop. Is there a report I can run to fin...
