Re: 2003 F150 Spark Plugs
basically what i do is loosen the plug and if it fights me i'll pour warm wd40 into the port and wait it out. believe it or not i've had better luck with a 3/8 impact gun at low pressure than a ratchet. I believe! Caliper bolts on the old Fords I would break a socket with a ratchet but not an impact.

With a scan tool monitor TCC output. Did you check the o ring on the inut shaft during the replacement?

If the customer is informed of the risk, I think it is like going to the grocery store and trying to buy pasta and being told that you have to buy tomatoe sauce, garlic bread and a bottle of wine.

Just like printers. Buy them for $50.00 and spend $45.00 on cartridges.

Re: 2005 Dodge Magnum - ATF Checking Procedure
I've got one from the dealer but don't know how to use it. It looks like a throtle cable on my lawn mower and it is about 18" longer than the tube. I have heard there is a temperature chart you have to reference but I would like to see it in print.

Also do a SAI or steering axle inclination which will indicate spindle problems. I would rotate only the fronts R-L to verify. Included angle should also be displayed after the SAI check.

Did you use a pilot bearing or bushing? We elect to use a bushing made of silicon bronze. It is self lubricating so don't grease it. Works well with worn input shafts, just dress it with emory cloth.

Transmission R&R is around 4.5 depending on manual or automatic and/or normally aspirated or turbo. So, I would say 2.0 would be more then fair for you.

Re: 2003 Buick Century - 3.1L Dies, No Codes
Give me a call, since all we do is transmission work, I'm thinking you might have a bad lock up solenoid. Does it feel like not releasing the clutch on a standard when stopping? Or it dies before the stop?

Re: 2001 Mercury Cougar - Shifting Problem
Does the scanner indicate desired gear while driving? If the computer commands a gear change and there is no shift then you have an internal problem.
