Re: Questions About Car Club Programs and Running Specials
In the promo tab is an discount line that will take a set amount off any particular special you may be running. Its the easiest way I know. when I run my trans flush special it discounts the same amount whether its a regular fluid or synthetic fluid flush. My wife sets up all the packages and all I ...

Re: 2003 Olds Alero - Front Brake Wear?
Im closing this request as finished but not repaired. Returned car to customer with warrantied parts . The son is taking it to his dad out of state to see if he can figure this out. The right front caliper is definitely dragging and getting hotter than left front. I have replaced all the parts that ...

Definitely do a cylinder leak down test on that cylinder. I have had my share of neons with burnt valves that only show a misfire at idle. HTH Jerry

Re: 2003 Olds Alero - Front Brake Wear?
Thanks for all the reply's. I do agree that quality of parts can be an issue. This particular car was installed with napa up7594x pads. I think you may be missing the point that the outboard pad is worn to the backing plate while the inboard pad looks new. All within 5000 miles. I have personally in...

Re: 2003 Olds Alero - Front Brake Wear?
Not a mail route, only both front outer pads are wearing, rear shoes adjusted and wearing normally. My next stop is a 12 step meeting tonight and see if my higher power has an answer. Then tomorrow I will check for dragging while hot and cold, I just don't understand how it's the outside pad only. S...

2003 Olds Alero - Front Brake Wear?
I have a 2003 Olds Alero vin 1G3NL52F03C331434 that is going thru the outer front brake pads in less than 5000 miles. I inherited this after several other shops have put who knows how many pads and rotors on it. I started from scratch and install napa reman calipers, master cylinder, front brake hos...

I also have a laptop for each tech in the shop, 3, and also a Snap-on Versus. love the Versus because it allows Techs, or me, to have mobility and have all needed information right in the front seat of a car. Jerry

Re: FIXED! 2002 MITSUBISHI DIAMANTE DASH REMOVAL
Sorry I'm late on closing this. The instructions never say to remove the dash speakers. Once removed the bolts holding the dash are visible and easily removed. Btw, I googled, Binged, Utubed, and what ever else they have with no help. Usually I watch those videos for entertainment, some are extremel...

2002 Mitsubishi Diamante - Dash Removal FIXED!
I'm removing the dash to replace the leaking heater core. The directions in "some data" are lacking as how to remove the top center and sides support panels as they call them. I'm kinda humbled  to have to ask for any help as I'm the person almost all other shops around here call for any A/C, ...

Re: 2004 Nissan Altima - No Heat Issue!
There is a TSB for poor heat for 2002 thru 2006 Altimas. A 50/50 mix of coolant/water is critical in this car according to Nissan. There is also a special coolant bleed procedure outlined in this TSB. Back to your problem of poor heat. Both heater pipes are on the same tank of this heater telling us...

I have used Rockford Driveline for many years as they are only 5 miles away (they were formerly know as Rockford Constant Velocity).
