The illustration of the dorman unit appears to have the updated motor with different connector. Did not see the jumper harness included. Dorman was about $20 less than dealer. The harness added another $20. total $40 extra for peace of mind factory fit.

Just a heads up ya'all. If ya get a Dodge trauck with 3.7 or 4.7 that needs a condensor fan motor and you are using factory parts check to see if you need just the motor or a complete assembly. Also the time to r&r fan does not include r&r condensor which is necessary. Just got bit on one and though...

I checked identifix, several harness repalcements. If you have a Fluke 88 meter you can set it to low ohms high resolution and reteet harness. May show something that way. HTH, Jeff.

Possible. Ya could confirm by setting cyl 1 to tdc and pulling valve cover to check mechanical valve timing.

Ok need some direction. 4.2 V6. Cylinder 4 misfire. Code for EGR insuffecient flow. Test lead to plugged egr ports. What kinda time would ya'all charge? Thanks Ric. I was able to get by with the 1999. Was a diag job for another shop. Had the sink thrown at it. Wanted to double check their work. Turned out it had a burned exh valve setting cyl 5 misfire code.
