Re: Printing Single Appointment?
You can print for one day but not single appointments. Maybe print the 1 day and cut them up to individual strips?

We use liquid dishwashing detergent. Low suds and works well.

Re: Can a part be removed fron inventory without being on an invoice?
Have you looked into Packages? These allow for a single price externally but you can add parts inside the package. They show as one line item on the order and inventory will deduct.

Technically that's all you need to do. What occurs when you try to email something? Error messages?

The add-on ProPack has a report that allows selection of one or multiple revisions, each with their own subtotal and an an option to total them all. Very handy.

Re: Barcode Scanning
You can most certainly scan a VIN into Manager and click decode. Mobile Manager Pro has this feature built in to the tablet software.nickscarcare wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 10:34 amSo this is just for inventory, and not to scan a vehicle in?

Re: DISCOUNTS
Discounts and Coupons are Order-centric with regards to percentages. If you want to apply a percentage of a specific job, you would need to do that manually and apply the results as a specific dollar amount under the current architecture. This may change when the architecture changes to the by-the-j...

Re: remove superceded part
Go to the part record of the original part that supersedes to another. Click on the supersede button and click ok. You'll see a note that says if you leave the part number field blank the supersession will be removed.

Re: Inventory Stock Location
We use a format that is similar. Shelf units are S, cabinets are C. Shelves are 1, 2, 3. Sub containers are A, B, C. So a location bearing S1S3G would be a container named G on the third shelf of shelf unit 1. This has worked well for us for 20+ years. Everything is labeled.

This appears to be a relatively new addition to the reports list. I have been hoping for quite sometime now to be able to do something along this line. I will explore this development and see if it will provide me with the link to an invoice that I look for. Many thanks & Kudos to you and the Mitch...

Re: Deposit Required to Order Parts
SPECIAL ORDERS!!!!!! YES. Just search the forum here as I've advocated for these ad nauseam. Special Orders act like Repair Orders for ordering parts and taking payments, but can be separated from Repair Orders on the WIP to differentiate from work that is actual ongoing. They play nice with electro...

Committed Parts won't find anything on Estimates. Must be a "printed" Repair Order or open Invoice.

Re: Inventory Part number changes
Thanks, I just tried this again and this is what I got, so having to go into the system to update is going to be a bear. That is the same message I get even today yet when I try to change an inventory part that is in use on an existing order. Maybe there is a setting I need to change. If the part i...

Yeah, the problem didn't happen over night; the solution won't happen over night either. I see some duplicate part numbers and many negative quantities. Sticking to best practices keeps these things from getting bad.

Re: Inventory Part number changes
The trick is to either delete, change and re-enter the part or wait until the Order is posted. The warning gives you the order #.
