This is what I have decided to manage this. I will used a canned job with the mileage and dollars total entered manually.

I can see a noticeable difference after tech support did their thing and then restarted the computer. It did not slow down at all yesterday.

I just got off the phone with tech support. They deleted a lot of temporary files and compressed the database. They also recommended the computers be restarted at least once each week. (I normally only restart when it updates.)

We're working through the update to address these issues now. We're being extra diligent in testing and ensuring everything is functioning.
