Re: Parts not transfering
Due to built-in software validations, it's going to fail without a known vehicle selected.
One suggestion is to pick an oddball YMM to be code for horse trailers.
First Call parts lookup (entering part #) and transfer was successful using this example:

Re: Parts not transfering
Looking up those seals first by part # or ? The parts catalog integration relies on using an anticipated vehicle definition (plate, VIN or YMME) to open the catalog. I can enter 2020 Horse Trailer and click the First Call catalog button. I can select a category or type a description and it always fl...

Re: 8.5.3.1226 WIP grid colors changing on their own
So we have also noticed after we installed a new printer Mitchell is changing the default printer back to the old one after a few hours on certain workstations. Definitely some glitches with this new update. Is that with Windows 10 or Windows 11? Having same issues with them changing colors I am th...

Re: 2018 CHARGER 3.6L OIL IN COOLANT
Wow, flashback to my auto recycling days: Not uncommon to have oil & coolant mixed in 8-318, 8-360 and 8-400 Mopar engines; the aluminum timing cover typically eaten away allowing them to mix. Clean the engine then put a good cover on with new gasket and run it to get compression check to confirm it...

Re: 8.5.3.1226 WIP grid colors changing on their own
Been finding WIP grid colors and font are frequently changing on their own. No other people use the user name. Is there a bug fix for this? Has happened numerous times over a few days, twice in the last hour. Have any layout changes been made to this User profile while other Manager SE workstations...

Shop Video with VOYO Devices Overview
Just got this clip from a shop using VOYO devices with customer vehicles. I think it helps to explain the scenario pretty well.

Re: Shop Option
I appreciate the feedback, I am not sure I understand what you mean by an internal account. I have only been the owner for a year and am still learning the tax side of things. Internal account is funded (at least accounted for) by the shop itself as opposed to standard customer payment types. It is...

Re: DISCOUNTS
As Ric states above, Discounts (coupon or ad hoc) are total order-centric. We are working on the by-the-job architecture now; due to the complexity, it will be introduced in at least two phases. The first phase is to get the BTJ grid introduced and refined. A second phase will introduce job containe...

Re: Shop Option
I suppose another benefit of using an internal account to pay for the shop expenses would be that the shop vehicles could be assigned a use tax category that would be remitted separately from sales tax and would be a tidy way of tracking use taxes .... Depending on local regulations, I'd think the ...

Re: Shop Option
I would like the option in the Options Menu to have "Shop" as an option, like discount or warranty so I can properly track and document my shop vehicle work and not have to zero it all out or discount it. Something to consider: A number of shops add their shop vehicles as customer/vehicle records a...

It’s a mileage based system that sends alerts for oil change, general service, tire service and tire replacement. These alerts will also appear in Manager ...
