Gross Profit By Vehicle Make?

80% of our business is 8 Euro makes, 20% is other than Euro - Asian & Domestic. I would like to see what each make contributes to our gross profit. I can get the sales by make reports but not the gross profit. Any ideas?

Re: Hours billed per RO

I agree about the SQL query. I used to be able to do much with Excel and smcore32.mdb but the sql db locks me out. Report pro has "build a query" but the files you can address are limited. This info would be very useful. Any work arounds?

Hours billed per RO

I asked this on Jan 22nd but didn't get an answer. I can measure what the labor sales (in dollars) are for various makes but I need to know the hours billed per RO for different makes. Example BMW = 3.2 hrs per invoice. Toyota = 2.1 hrs per invoice. GM = 1.8 hrs per invoice, etc. Tiered labor rates ...

Hours Billed By Make Of Car?

I didn't find this in a search. We are trying to establish some benchmarks for 2018 about how many hours we bill per/invoice by make of car. Example; BMW 3.8 hours, Ford Fusion 1.9. We have the average sales dollars per/invoice by make but we can't just divide by an hourly labor rate because canned ...

Re: Sales by tech

Thanks Ric, that will do what I want and then some. Another question if I may; Can the "category profit summary" report be included in the "end of day" reports batch file? I don't see it listed. Thanks again.

Sales by tech

I want to determine what an individual tech is worth to the company in order to improve compensation. Is there a way to report total sales by tech including parts and labor?

Income by technician

Is there a report that shows income (not billed hours) per tech? If not, can I create a query to produce that information?

Re:Solution - When was a vehicle (not customer) last in?

For those of you who specialize - I wanted to produce customer mailing lists that were make specific. For example; One for Mercedes customers and a different one for Porsche. The problem was a customer may have 6 vehicles attached to his account - 2 are active, 4 are long gone. Requesting "customer ...

Re: Mail Lists - Last In With Multiple Vehicles?

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately I'm 10,000 customers too late to make that work for my immediate needs but I will start doing that from now on. Good idea. What I believe I'm looking for is a way to write a query or manipulate Mitchells db to provide accurate last in dates for owners indi...

Mail Lists - Last In With Multiple Vehicles?

I use an Excel query to produce make specific mailing list from the Michell db. This allows me to sort by make, zip, visits, money spent, etc. The problem is many customers have had multiple cars over the years and they all populate with the same "last in" date. Consequently a customer may show 6 ca...
