Problem solved. Found key to be faulty (aftermarket). Had a new key made at dealership. Works fine now. Thanks

2013 Ford F150 - Starting System Fault FIXED
Would like input on this issue please. Tried Programming a key on a 2013 f-150. After 3 attempts, nothing. Now I have "starting system fault" on dash. Any ideas? Thanks FIXED

Had to Force As Built Data into Instrument Cluster, and then enter Security Code. All Is Good Now. Thanks All For the Help and Suggestions.

Checked All fuses. Cannot get Instrument Cluster To Communicate with PCM. Not Sure if A/C was working before...only got truck to install New Cluster, was during winter months.

2008 F-150 5.4 liter
Installed New Instrument Cluster, Programmed it. All Was Fine. Came back with A/C inop. New PCM and Heater Control Head were Installed.......Still A/C will no engage.
Any suggestions please.... Thanks

Only thing replaced was the transmission. No other work has been done on this vehicle at our shop

Dont have it currently on lift. Had to take a mind break from this one! This problem starts approx. after driving 2 hours. When you raze it up then it will go into gear, at idle is when it grinds and not engage.

Just replaced tranny. First one had same problem. Now this one is doing same thing. Wondering if this is a common problem and maybe i got a tranny with a bad transfer case?

Starts fine, just when you put it in forward/reverse will not engage and a grinding noise occurs. First came into shop with this problem, R&R transmission, all new fluids. Was fine for 2 days, customers came back with same problem next day. Clueless here....

Just to give you an update on "our nightmare car". Ended up receiving "bad" ignition module from parts supplier!

Car came in as no start. Replaced Crank Sensor, Wiring, Ignition Module. Bringing up Code 42. No continuous spark after first time trying to start.

Thanks. How do you check for magnetism? And since the cold to warm bucking/jerking happens so fast; do you think it is a cold/warm issue?
