Re: Non Taxable Report vs. Sales Receipt Summary
Megoff, I took your suggestion and called in to support. A very nice young lady dialed into my system and we went over the differences together. After considerable time, neither one of us could figure it out. There is no way to dive deeper into the numbers on the Sales Receipt Summary. So after hang...

Non Taxable Report vs. Sales Receipt Summary
Hello all, Hopefully I can describe a situation I run into every month with regards to sales tax reporting to the state of NC. Here goes... On the Sales Receipts Summary (monthly) there is a Non-Taxable column which totals the invoices which are tax exempt (in NC, it is basically the state inspectio...

Nexpart Multi-User vs. Part Tech
Hello everyone,
I am curious about the two new parts look-ups that have recently been added to Manager SE. Anyone have an opinion on whether Nexpart Multi-User or PartTech is better??
Happy Holidays

Re: Update 8.5.02
UPDATE: Ok...I just tried the workaround on ordering columns and closing program with just a few changes. Re-opened SE and it held the column order as I had tried. So I decided to re-order and resize all my columns to my liking. But before I could close the program, it reverted back to the first sav...

Re: Update 8.5.02
YES....we are running 8.5.0.90 on all terminals. And we are having the issues exactly as you described. Is 8.5.0.90 supposed to be working correctly??? What am I missing here???
Thanks

Re: Update 8.5.02
Wow!!!
I am shocked that, at the very least, long time users of Manager SE were not warned about 8.5.02 issues. The WIP screen is now a disaster. Isn't there a way to give SE users the option to revert back to the previous version??? Very frustrating!!!

Scheduler delays
Hello All,
Curious if anyone else is having a delay issues with their scheduler. Over the past few weeks, my scheduler takes up to 30 seconds to load on any particular day. Software is up to date. This issue is happening on all three terminals.
Thanks

Re: Special Order
Good morning Ric, Thank you for your speedy reply. All of the scenarios that you presented will work perfectly for the ideas I have with regards to open labor claims against parts warranties. But at the risk of sounding completely stupid, or at the very least blind, I can not find the "view" button ...

Special Order
Hello all, I've noticed over the years that when you click on the display tab at the bottom of the work in progress screen, it opens up types of tickets to display. My question is this....what is the special order tab for??? I am assuming it would be for special order parts. If that is the case, how...

Inventory Reports Showing Profit Margin?
I'm curious if there is an inventory report that is laid out similar to the "non stock parts purchased" report which shows quantity, cost, retail, profit amount, and most importantly profit margin percentage. I know the inventory parts aren't actually sold yet, but it would be a great tool to check ...

Re: Receiving parts and Ref/Inv# question
I like Timbre's screen shots, but when I manually enter the vendor's invoice number on the purchase order, it does not automatically change the invoice number on the part line. In fact, I always get the message that the part number is not found on any active repair orders. What am I missing here???

Re: Option For 'Drop Off' To Follow Start Time?
I get at least two phone calls every day from customer's who have scheduled "wait" appointments at specific times....and have received an email confirmation for an appointment at 8:00am. An at least 3 out of 10 customer's think we have changed the appointment and show up at 8:00am instead of their o...

Re: Vendor Invoice # on PO?
Thanks, Tim. It is a shame that it will not trickle down, to eliminate double entry....maybe someday.
Amd thanks, Ric...the problem was that we were ordering from the revision/estimate screen BEFORE we transferred to the order screen.

Vendor Invoice # on PO?
Curious if I am missing something with regards to Purchase Orders. Hopefully someone out there can help. Here's the scenario... Let's say I look up a part on Carquest link via Mitchell 5.9. I transfer the part to my repair order, which opens up a part line with all the necessary info perfectly (part...
