Re: HELP!!! 7.3 Turbo Bolt Trouble HELP!!!

I too am good at covering or filling holes to prevent this very thing, but this time i let one go! Well, I went and dropped $100 bucks on a small snake camera from Home Depot that allowed me to see down inside. I see the bolt. It does not appear to be jammed or wedge tight. This new tool comes with ...

HELP!!! 7.3 Turbo Bolt Trouble HELP!!!

One of the bolts from the air intake cover fell into the large turbocharger oil return galley hole. The pedestal was removed so it went directly into engine compartment. Can anyone tell me if that hole empties directly into the oil pan, bypassing the pistons? I want to make sure that bolt will not f...

Re: 1992 BMW 325is - Crank But No Start

In checking for voltage to coils and from coils to plugs, what is the correct voltage? Resistance for coils are in specification. My system does not give me what the voltage shold be like it does for resistance. Any body know?

2007 Jeep Commander Steering Knock

After some narrowing down, the knock comes only when turning left. Will occur in AWD and 4L settings. I can duplicate one time only while in the air on first turn to left. It occurs 8 out of 10 turns left. Still have not seen any visual indications for the sound. I have checked Rack and Pinion, knoc...

Battery cables clamps are clean, all fuses are ok. Starter fail was not a result to over cranking, as far as I and customer are aware of.

Customer informed that starter went out. My own diagnostic confirmed. Replaced starter, but car still won't start. It cranks with fuel pressure in spec. Double checked cam and crank sensor resistance and voltage, all checked out fine. Had a weak battery and a Code 26 - ECU Battery Voltage. Installed...

2003 Dodge PU R1500 - 4Dr 4.7L Instrument Cluster

Customer is complaining that horn and power locks have occationally activiated at random, mostly during hot ambient temps. During my actuator tests on the cluster I noticed that as I tested each actuator, the cluster power would flicker on and off in random patterns. I did pull 5 C-Codes from the cl...

Thanks guys for the suggestions and input. I'll try both a reflash of the PCM and/or swap injectors and see if doing so creates a different outcome.

The problem was a bad injector. Once injector was replaced, all rough idle and running disappeared as it should. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions.

Re: 1996 Jeep Charokee Sport - 4.0L VIN S: Starting Issues

To all responders, I was able to open the switch and noticed a great deal of grime, causing the switch inside from returning to the Park position. It was getting stuck in the Reverse position, although the shifter was in Park. I cleaned out the grime and added a small amount of di-electric grease. T...
