Re: 2005 Nissan Sentra - 1.8L Gas Pedal Don't Work

Did you replace the t-body and the pedal sensor to try to fix this problem, or did the problem occur after these parts were replaced?

Re: 2005 NISSAN SENTRA GAS PEDAL DONT WORK

When you say gas pedal doesn't make the car move, do you mean when you press on the pedal the throttle under the hood doesn't move - or do you mean the vehicle has no power and wont move when accelerating? Could be different things depending on your answer.

Re: 1996 Chev PU - 5.0L Misfire On #3 & #5

Even so, I'd still do what Steven said. Just because you had the heads milled and valve job done on them doesn't mean it was done right. Had a vehicle once that I sent the heads out and had them reworked during a head gasket replacement. Put it all back together just to find out that a valve guide w...

Re: 2003 Dodge Sprinter 2500 - P2506 Code

I believe that error code merely indicates that power to the ECM was too low. Was the battery dead, or had it been dead? Like Mike was getting at above, try a full charging system/battery test and see if you come up with anything. By the way, will the code clear?

Attached is a diagram. Hope this helps. And, like Steven said, these are highly interference engines. Everyone I've ever seen that has broken a belt has bent a bunch of valves and caused other damage as well. Good Luck!

Re: 2003 Chev S10 - 4.3L P0300 Troubles

Had a 4.3l with a similar problem...turned out to be a small "rock" of carbon stuck in the EGR pintle. Pulled the EGR valve, cleaned everything up, did a air induction cleaning and PRESTO...fixed. It did not throw an EGR code, just a P0300. Might want to visit that one if all else fails...Good luck.

Re: 1996 Toyota 4Runner - Rough Running P0303

These were known for head gasket problems (Toyota was replacing them for free). I've seen them where they didn't overheat, wasn't loosing a significant amount of coolant, and only affecting one or two cylinders. I've also seen fuel injector problems - usually a good fuel injection cleaning (we use a...

Re: 2001 Infiniti I30 - O2 Sensors Flatlining

The most problematic components on these vehicles are MAF's, coolant temp sensors, IAC's, and bad grounds. Nissans (Infinitis) are FUN!

Re: CDN Honda Model Identification

Hi LB. What Steve's talking about when he says WorldPac website, is not actually a "website". Its the SpeedDial program that WorldPac has available to all who purchase from them. If you order from them now, then you probably know where to enter the VIN number. It quite often will differentiate betwe...

Re: 2005 Mini Cooper - A/C Not Cooling

A 40 degree difference (from 90-50) at idle is not bad at all. What happens at say 1500-2000 rpm? If it gets in the mid to upper 40's at the higher RPMs, then I say that's about as good as it gets in some vehicles.

Re: 2008 Nissan Rogue - Blower Motor

Alldata says the same thing. It's BS. R&R evaporator case is 5.4, and it has to come out to replace the blower motor. Looks like Nissan provided Alldata & Mitchell bogus info. Hate when that happens!

Need more info than that...high side and low side pressures at idle and at 1500, and ambient temperature would be helpful.

Re: 2003 Porsche Boxster - Steering Noise

I'm with Steven. If you have the tool he's talking about (it's called The Chassis Ear - comes wired or wireless), place the sensors in the areas in question. I guarantee you'll find the noise. If you don't, place it on a drive on rack, and get someone to forcefully jounce the vehicle. Good luck. Noi...

Shraeder makes a tool that does it all (even Toyota). We purchased 2 from NAPA. Make sure you buy the optional ALDL adapter so that it can access the onboard systems.

I have to agree with Steven. Check the gear position sensor - make sure the computer "sees" the vehicle in gear.
