Re: ProDemand Comments

Got a chance to test drive Prodemand tonight. I will admit at first I was skeptical, but after a few minutes was impressed. Information is much easier to find, especially the quick links to fluids capacities and TSB's. As Tim knows, I am disappointed that this is all online now and data discs will n...

Re: 2004 Chev Silverado 3500 - 6.6L (2) No Comm?

I'd use the factory scanner or at least 2 aftermarket scanners to make sure it's not me. If it's all good, there's little else than a bad module. It's possible the cluster is the issue...

Re: 2006 Ford F350 Super Duty - 6.0L Crank/No Start?

Side note also... The aftermarket has been having issues with filters. Do NOT ever throw out the OEM caps, We have been using OEM filters on these since I learned of this ( the hard way) While theres not many of them on this island... we've fixed three now that no one else has been able to touch for...

We are stuck with the internet here. The local indian counsel wont allow the fiber optic line to be tied ( that is 5 miles offshore)in unless someone pays an extremely unrealistic amount of money... we are all stuck with the same crappy internet..lol I will check it out at the house in NY though :) ...

Re: 07 F350 6.0 P0266

Both are OK. Was one of the first things I checked. 52-54 PSI, KOER. 55 KOEO. Under load pressure remains constant. Was last night when I scanned it but FICM voltage was about 42 or 47... dont remember exactly but it was 40 something. I instantly think of injector issue, but as much as they cost, I ...

2007 Ford F350 - 6.0L Code P0266 FIXED

Ok, My diesel guy is off Island and here I am. Alone in the shop staring over the fenders at this 6.0. I know theres a ton of threads on here about the 6.0 I have read back through some of them but none seem to cover this issue. Cold startup is normal. Small puff of black smoke . Engine is noisy... ...

2006 Dodge Dakota - Check balls FIXED THANKS!

Bit of a Jam here. My OD5 is inop and I am awaiting new installation discs, and for some reason I cannot access OD5.com While replacing the solenoid pack on this 06 Dakota with a 3.7 A/T 4 WD ( 1D7HW28K36S695449 ) Tech lost track of where the check balls went in the valve body. He is "kinda" sure wh...

Re: 2009 Dodge Journey - Check ENG + Gas Cap Light

This vehicle uses the new ESIM system instead of the NVLD method. No leak detection pump....it relies on vacuum. Fuel cap light means a medium or large leak detected on one trip. This matures to a real leak code after 3 trips rather than the old 2 trip method. You may have a leak that shows on vacu...

Re: 1982 International S1724 Wiring

There are times when charging for information is fitting. Some of my customers have unique vehicles or pieces of equipment that call for special tools. Some i can get away without while others i can't. The ones i need to purchase get billed out to the customer. It may not be all at once but you can...

If you've got a valid Mitchell 1 repair product subscription I believe you can contact Product Support to see if they have this. I am trying to locate a wiring schematic for a 1982 International S1724, particularly, the instrument cluster and ignition circuits. Also having a tough time even finding parts for this durn thing. Truck came in with a ...
