Re: Inventory Physical Count

I hadn't thought of that. I don't know how I've made that past 29 years of being in business without this knowledge. LOL :D

Re: Inventory Physical Count

Thanks for the update. Apparently, none of friends have large enough companies that hire someone to do inventory for them. I have one friend with 15 locations and each location does their own inventory. You're probably right for a dealership? My warehouse does their own inventory. The difference is ...

Re: Inventory Physical Count

These are both good ideas but not exactly what I'm looking for. In the normal course of business inventory changes, additions, deletions, and errors. You can run the reports by manufacturer, vendor, and description and so forth. Problem I find is parts records are only as good as the input made. For...

Inventory Physical Count

We do a physical count twice a year. The routine is cumbersome. Has there been any fixes or advances? Inventory; Inv. Transactions; Physical Count. Input part number, tab, part comes up, change count, update, then input another part number. Is there any way to auto advance to the next part number? I...

Purchase Order

Riddle me this Batman: When receiving a PO to a repair order you put the vendor's invoice number on the record, go through the whole process of receiving the parts associating them with the repair order they were ordered for, and close the PO. Why, why, why does it not put the vendor's invoice numbe...

Re: How I Think It Should Work

Having the vin in the vehicle list allows to click on the correct vehicle instead of clicking on all of them looking for that vin. Example: fleets have multiple vehicles that are all the same year, make, model etc. only way to differentiate is vin. I know the license plate is there but that's an add...

Re: POLL: Your Forum Usage

I do post from time to time. I only log on from time to time. I think I'm a power user of the program but don't feel like my needs are being met by the forum or the developers. I have been asking for enhancements for years and they are being met ever so slowly. I'd like to see a quick books interfac...
