Re: Chrysler Concorde 2.7L Main Oil Pressure
tim sorry for the late post. Being a chrysler trained tech.I have been with the 2.7 since it came out. I can say personally i think jasper didnt machiine the crank correctly or mismatched the main brgs. you are right that there could also be a restriction from the main oil galley to the main brgs in...

sorry for the late response. As per chrysler hot line, in the fuel trim equation part of the math used. Is for dwell time, or the amount of time the colis are energized. if it gets a intermitant or false signal it can and will in some cases keep the coils energized too long causing them to burn up i...

Re: 1987 Mercedes Benz 420SEL - Motor Install
persoally i would not take on such a job mainly due to the fact i have never done heavy line on a 1987 sel. of course this is a personal thing if it were a chrysler, dodge, or jeep, or even any domestic i would be all over it. i have done so many of them over the years i feel i can almost do it in my...

Re: 2008 Sprinter 3500 - Service Info
yes every 10,000 you get a new fuel filter, rotate, bal. every other rotate, and an oil change keep in mind the dpf on the newer sprinters is very pickey about the oil you put in the engine. you can cause premature failure with using the wroung oil over time. a lot of egr failures, some throttle bod...

if by the crankshaft sensor not showing am rpm reading and not being bad yes it could have a wireing issue between the sensor and the ecm. usually and with almost every crk circut if your getting comm. w/ecm and can read the datastream your seeing a delayed signale of what the controller is seeing. ...

steven is correct ck for warranty first unless they have an extended warr. this condition would be covered under 3/36 factory warr. it should have a 7/70 power train only. if its not covered i would ck. the connection at the multifunction switch first, ive had a few where the locking tab from the fa...

Re: navagator blower stayed on
i would have never thought of it, but it makes good sense. if the alt diode tree was faulty it would cause some of the same issues a bad battery would. i never thought of a backfeed or poor voltage to the bcm or atc module thanks steven i feel all better now.

20xx Linc Navagator - Blower Stayed On
Well we started on this truck with a no crank no start. aaa towed it in and it had a dead battery. After charging the battery, I started to poke around and found the blower would stay on high with the key out of the igswa ok its an atc system so at this point I started cking pwr and grds to find out...

Re: 2002 Dodge PU - 5.9L Eating Coils?
an easy way to ck. amp. is by using a headlamp bulb. you very well may have the voltage applied but if there is no amp. it will damage the coil. i would use it in line on both the pwr and grd side and see if the brightness is equal to the load. grd side go from the batt. threw the headlamp straight ...

i have replaced a bucket full of ipm and fcm on these trucks very few clusters. im thinking the cluster is seeing the ipm dropping out and setting the codes in that case you should also get a no comm. code between the two. :?: just my 2 cents but i would ck. for green stuff around the ipm or in the ...

well you cannt fix what aint broke. you will have to keep the car for a while use it as a dayly driver untill it acts up be prepared for when it does youll have to do some roadside diag. so keep a kit with you as far as what you might need, scan tool, flash light, 12 pack of beer, in my case i would...
