Re: ProDemand Comments
I did like using the Prodemand when I needed to. I do find it interesting that so many basic procedures are missing from so many different vehicles. For instance you would think that the procedure for replacing a starter on a 2002 Daewoo Leganza would be easy to find, yet I can't find it anywhere. T...

Re: 323i EML and traction light w/ECM codes
Thanks. I will do that. Actually piggybacking the APP sensor and TP sensors is not unusual. Toyota does it on the Tacoma, and some other models.

My mistake. It is a 2.5 litre. It is the 323i.

BMW 323i - EML & Traction Light w/ECM Codes
I am finding it near impossible to find any type of accurate information on this vehicle in Mitchell1. I have a 1999 BMW 323i with the 2.8 engine, automatic trans and ABS with traction control. The customer has come in with a complaint of EML light and traction light engaging, and when it does, the ...

End of Fiscal year
This will be the end of this Fiscal year for our shop. I have not researched a whole lot in the reports, and I was planning on just doing the general reports and such for our accountant, however I noticed an option that says "End of Fiscal year" that requires my password. What does this option entai...

Re: 2007 Chrysler Sebring Fuel Pump Wiring
How silly, I have been so worried about the voltage supply side that I didn't look at the fuel pump module. After pulling the back seat and removing the electrical connector, I found that the power terminal had melted, and the terminal on the module itself pulled out. So I will be pricing out a fuel...

Re: 2007 Sebring fuel pump wiring
Oh crap, sorry, I forgot to include. It is the 2.4. Even if it is controlled by the TIPM, shouldn't it have a circuit protection in case of a fault? Either way, how does one go about checking the circuit? I guess removing the fuel pump access cover I could connect a test light, but I had hoped a fue...

2007 Chrysler Sebring Fuel Pump Wiring
I can't believe this is so difficult for me. I have looked through Mitchell1, as well as OnDemand, and I can't find what SPECIFIC fuse in the Totally integrated Power Module is used for the fuel pump. I am trying to find out if I have power going to the fuel pump, since I have zero fuel pressure. Ev...

Nevermind. I guess I had to wait for the internal system on your end to reset. Cut and paste worked this time.

Login Problems
I didn't have my password or username saved, and my browser crashed. I asked for a new login in password in the "lost password" selection on the login page. It sent me a new username and new password to use, but when I use it, It say incorrect password. I tried everything from typing it all in manua...

Re: 1998 Saturn SL2 - Stalling
Ric, Bryan, you both hit it on the head. When I replaced the coil I accidentally got the two wires mixed up on the coil. Damn I am kicking myself! Cost me a TPS sensor too! Thanks tho. Always glad that there are so many people here who can help. Just goes to show you, even the good techs can sometim...

Re: 1998 Saturn SL2 - Stalling
Customer finally had brought the car in, and as a courtesy I replaced the TPS for her. Engine is still doing the exact same thing. Stalling out when you tip in the throttle. It will do it in or out of gear, but more prevalent in gear. (under a load) I have no codes, and to be honest, I am a bit conf...

Re: Server crash on Mitchell1?
OK, well at least we know it is something on the Mitchell side, and not my side. I have tried to call tech support, but since the phones are constantly busy, I am assuming they already know. lol.

Server crash on Mitchell1?
I have tried to call tech support but the lines are all busy. About 10 minutes ago I lost access to both the repair section and estimator section. I cna run my shop management fine, but when trying to check for repair info, or going to the estimator I always get "Information for this vehicle is not ...

Re: 1998 Saturn SL2 - Stalling
The overheat was DEFINATELY caused by a faulty ECT. The ECT data showed 85 degrees when my temp probe was showing 250 degrees. Cooling fans never turned on due to faulty ECT sensor. Vehicle no longer overheats. I do not know if the stall occurred before, because when she brought it to me, we couldn'...
