Re: Activant issues

We were having this issue a few weeks back. Gave errors when getting into PO's and when trying to look up or order parts on Activant. When it was turned off the problems went away. The tech support agent I talked to said it was something to do with the Account setup on Activants side. He put in our ...

Re: Labor Matrix

I would add that the Labor Matrix topic was mentioned in our workshop event this past weekend. Since the vehicle age factor has been added to this discussion that could add to the complexity of the design. More discussion is required obviously, therefore we cannot provide parameters that will be fa...

Re: X-charge vs 1stMile

We have also had both, we are now with First Mile. The ease of processing financing applications for our clients within the program is great. They are also in the process of releasing the "Text to Pay" feature which will be a plus. We pay the base processing rate plus the monthly fee which is great ...

Re: Labor Matrix

A labor matrix based on vehicle age would be great. Once vehicles reach 5 years everything gets rusty. It would be nice to mark labor times up by a set percentage.

Re: Update RO Parts Cost When Receiving Parts

I found out why mine wasn't working. When receiving parts the box for "Receive parts to appropriate work orders" was not checked. Now it works as it should.

But I would like it to be able to update a closed order too.

Re: Update RO Parts Cost When Receiving Parts

Purchase Orders should be updated and closed while the order is open. This is how the program is designed to work and will solve all your problems if processed in this manner. Even when performed that way, you still have to update the pricing in two areas. So I think my request would still be valid.

Update RO Parts Cost When Receiving Parts

Sometimes our vendors adjust prices lower on parts for us without us knowing about it until after the customer has already been billed out. I'm looking for a feature that when you close the purchase orders and adjust the prices, it will automatically adjust the cost in the RO that those parts were o...

I am excited for this probably as much as you are. I haven't replied till I pushed to get a answer for you folks. I got it and unfortunately there is no ETA that I can give. Know that I know this is BIG and that it is in the process of being built, but we have to wait more. As soon as I have an ans...

The development work is coming along well; we are currently aiming for Android release on April 15th.
Curious if this has been released for Android?

Ours puts the PO number properly.

What version are you running?
Who is the vendor?

In my experience the issue is usually on the Vendors end.

Engine Specs Disappeared

In the past we used to be able to view engine specs, such as "DOHC" We noticed recently that has went away. Is it coming back, and if not, is there somewhere else in Mitchell we can decode if the vehicle is a DOHC or SOHC?

We use it.
The Car Care One, and Auto Pass are the best options. There is a new one they integrated with called Acima. I don't know much about the new one, rates for the customer seem pretty high, and I don't what the customer thinking I got them a bad deal...

The link to the 8.0 update is now in the upper-right corner of this forum. Please note: the odometer validation/history issue is fixed for invoice validations, but can still occur with other order phases. We're addressing it now for all order phases. When trying to update, I get an error saying "Th...

Is it possible to have the tech worksheet display pay labor hours, even if a technician is not assigned to the repair order yet? We write up tickets and don't always know which technician will be working on it at the time of write up, so the technician is unsure if we have gotten time for a complai...
