This for 7 and 10 or just 10?
Thanks.
I would think all, but they do only really call out 10 in the message.
Regards,
Matt.

Vehicle Screen Body/Chassis/Engine Codes
I've asked for this before, but I still don't see it on the Enhancement List. With all the room on the screen, a field to add Body, Chassis and Engine specific codes would be great. If you are a "Euro" person, you don't refer to a 2012 BMW X5 as an X5, it's a E70. You also refer to the engine as an ...

P&L
Hello... Prepare yourselves for possibly the worst question ever asked in here. We are signed up for an ATI class, they wish for us to bring a P&L Statement or "financial statement". Guess what...I don't think we have one, to be quite honest. We don't use QB or anything and honestly, I'm not positiv...

If You're Having Any Reservations - Please Read
This is maybe an odd post to make, but I do feel it is important. If you are indecisive about taking the leap and purchasing from Bolt On Technology, allow me to attempt to cast away any fears concerning support. I've had great experiences with Bolt-On's support of their products, whether I email th...

Part Sales Report (Matrix)
Is there a report I'm missing, or is there a way I can export to .csv, that would divide up Parts Sales by range of the Parts Markup Matrix? Where I'm going with this is I wish to know where the average cost of parts is and what range, in my matrix, do most of my sales occur. If I'm shooting for 55%...

Oil Life Reset
Oil Life Reset is a procedure found in the LubeStickerPro function on a workstation, but I feel very strongly it makes sense to have it at our technicians finger tips, car side.
That or have the Maintenance portion of MOD/ShopKey fully functional on the tablets.
Thanks,
Matt.

Re: Storing Videos In The Future?
I feel you need to add the feature. Maybe the videos are temporarily stored on the tablet but then sent to a PC HD or the cloud (Google Drive?).
Even if you have to limit video times to 5 seconds. 5 seconds is plenty of time to show a loose ball-joint or tie-rod end.
Thanks.
Later, Matt.

Hourly Pay/Fixed Salary effect in Reports
I see in Technician setup, I can select hourly pay and then fill out their hourly schedule. I've gone with 40 hours for everyone. This doesn't seem to have any effect in our Reports, namely Business Summary, as it still seems to assume Billed Hours is Pay Hours. Is this by design or is there a way t...

Backups
Hello all. Perhaps this has been covered, long ago. A quick search of the forum didn't bring anything up, but like I said it was a quick search. We're told to backup our databases to thumb-drives or external hard-drives so they can be taken off premises, which is good advice...at least the part abou...

Re: Scheduler FEEDBACK [Actual SE 7.0 User Posts Only]
When selecting Holidays, it doesn't seem to have any effect. So I've added days where the shop would be closed, but it doesn't show up in the schedule (other than the number being red on the calendar on the left).
I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks.

Re: Canned Jobs (Customer Type)
So, perhaps, we are using Customer Type incorrectly? Jobs are Diagnostic, not Clients. So...is there a better way?

Re: Canned Jobs (Customer Type)
I was thinking they could just enable the Customer Type tab on a Canned Job. We have about 5 different Customer Types (ie, Standard, Euro, Diagnostic, etc, etc.). When you select a Canned Job, unless I'm mistaken, it defaults to the first Type you have and cannot be switched on the fly. I was hoping...

Canned Jobs (Customer Type)
I looked over the Enhancement list and didn't really see this, although I'm positive we've had this discussion and it seemed like a no-brainer. We should be able to choose Customer Type when building Canned Jobs. Our diagnostic rate is about 33.33% higher than our regular door/shop rate. I would lik...

Vehicle From Another Repair Facility?
I have a question on how you handle entering vehicles that are at your facility from another facility where the vehicle is owned by a client/former client of yours. I have a truck here that we must have serviced in the past where another shop in town has sent it to me for a diagnostic opinion. I ent...

Windows 10?
I may have looked right passed where someone has addressed this, that or I've started this topic in a poor area. I apologize for both. I'm seeing the option to upgrade to Windows 10, on my Windows 7 machines, for FREE! That's right, Free. But, that's beside the point. The question is...should I? Wil...

Parts Ordered/Received
I would like to see a function to just "right-click" on a part line and select whether the part has been ordered or received.
I'm sure there's a way using POs, but if you don't order electronically it looks to be quite involved.
Thoughts?

This pertains to shops using multiple workstations with SM running. I'd like to see a way for any station to "kick" another out of an invoice or "take over", if you will. Many times someone accidently leaves an invoice or RO open and then you cannot access it, or at least make changes. It'd be nice ...
