Please don't get snippy with me. I certainly didn't intend to come across that way, myself.
I'm a developer myself. I'm asking for what has to be a maximum of 10 lines of code to be deleted. That's all.

Re: Small Sell Revision Request
Meh...I don't see anything wrong with doing it the way I want to. The Reason entered is usually just one word, such as "Needed" or "Requested." I type something into the Reason field only because of another annoyance that happens when I don't: A message box pops up and tells me, "Some information is...

Re: Small Sell Revision Request
I'm sorry, but I don't think you quite understood what I was trying to say. Let me try again... What I tend to do is type a reason why I'm selling a revision (or set of revisions) and then go check off the revision(s) that I'm selling. When I type the reason first as I just described, and then click...

Small Sell Revision Request
Whenever I click on an estimate to sell on the left side of the Sell Revision screen, it erases anything I have written in the "Reason" box on the right. Could you please fix this functionality. It's rather frustrating.

Re: Google Account Integration
Actually, I already do this very thing, but it certainly isn't the ideal "integration." I appreciate the feedback, though. So, my feature request still stands.

Google Account Integration
We use Google Apps for email and other things related our website and business. Is there any chance of getting integration with Google on the customer database side of things? For example, a new customer comes in, does some work, etc., and gets added to our Google Contacts? There's a myriad of thing...

What to Put in "Reason" on Revision Authorization
Hello folks. Given the limited number of characters that can be entered into the "Reason" field when selling a revision, what do you commonly put in? This morning, for example, we received authorization to replace a battery, wiper blades, air filter, and accomplish a transmission pan service. The fi...

Hide Old and/or Closed Appointments
Not sure if this should go in this forum or the Enhancement Requests forum. Can we get the ability to hide appointments: 1. Beyond n days old; 2. Beyond a specified date; 3. Future appointments more than n days forward; 4. Future appointments after a specified date; 5. Appointments marked with user-...

Additional Disclaimer Terms Page
We currently pre-print additional terms and conditions that do not fit on our ROs, Estimates, Invoices, etc., on one side of a blank ream of paper. We then reinsert the printed paper in the printer a certain way such that TeamWorks ends up printing on the other side. With the ability to select diffe...

Re: Intended Workflow
This covers the unsigned authorization. EVERYTHING gets signed on pick up. Does this mean you do print the new versions of the RO and have them sign all the new ROs? Sometimes our initial repair can change two or three times, such as when the customer calls in and requests additional things they or...

Re: Intended Workflow
I assume the signed and printed work order then is for CYA purposes, such as being able to show permission to operate the vehicle to police and perhaps Garage Operators Liability insurance requirement purposes, etc. Also, some states/counties/cities require it, right? If the above is correct, how do...

Intended Workflow
We come from the old fashioned days of handwritten everything and what wasn't handwritten was done on a handshake. However, we took over a shop two years ago and have been self-teaching how to use Mitchell ever since. Additionally, we're growing quickly and it's probably time we do things "by the bo...

Interesting Ric. Thanks Tim.
Ric, do you actually use these? If so, exactly how? I mean, what steps do you take in the software to put these to use? Also, do you use them in SocialCRM?

Re: Recommendations
Put another way, you guys designed it such that recommendations drive revisions. But recommendations don't directly turn into work orders, where thanks to "Sell Revision," revisions do. What I'm trying to say is that, for some shops, it probably ought to be *declined* revisions drive recommendations...

Re: Recommendations
I can see why you did it this way. But the cliche about leading a horse to water applies here. Some may not drink your Kool-Aid and instead, put the cart (revisions) before the horse (recommendations). The option I described above could perhaps streamline things for those who prefer bourbon instead ...

Re: Recommendations
How about... An option in the settings (much like enforce mileage, checking state inspection dates, etc) that when an order is converted to an invoice, check to see if there are any revisions remaining. If yes, ask the user if they'd like to add any recommendations. If they click yes, display the re...
