Re: Marking Recuring Events?
Another request (to keep this top-of-mind) please expedite recurring appointments - maybe even just in the "shop events" so that daily, weekly, monthly meetings can be more user-friendly. Since the Scheduler is "outlook" based, I wouldn't expect it to be too much to take on now that you have things ...

Re: Scheduler update?
While considering updates, I'd ask that you consider tying the scheduler to the Manager, so that when a customer brings a different car in than the appointment was set for and we change vehicles, the appointment changes too...or at least let us manually do it in scheduler. And we hope you're adding ...

Re: Wish List - Recurring Appointments
It would be great if we could set reoccurring appointments and better yet - reoccurring shop events in scheduler.
Please?

Re: Scheduler Feedback & Requests
Since what you refer to as "Order Hours" is actually what's most important to a shop, could you consider making that stand out in each appointment, maybe like a red font? Also, since the scheduler is a bit character-heavy, maybe the customer name in bold type? that way it gets more efficient for at-...

Thank you, it was a VERY helpful report. Feel free to contact me about what it did - I believe it has strong marketing potential for you to the SE clients

Re: Appointment State / WIP Status
I know they said they rushed the update for security purposes. But, someone please tell me this... When info is changed on the WIP screen (status, date, time, tech) and also when something is changed from estimate, to repair order, to invoice, to posted. Eventually any of those changes will automat...

Re: Appointment State / WIP Status
When I was working with development on this project we all thought to maintain the Status of an Order and the Status of a Appointment Help me understand why. Seems like extra work to me. With the old work-flow, you made an Estimate and it got 'scheduled'. The two shared the same status list. Now th...

Re: Scheduler Changes Promised Times?
This should not be the case. 7.0.3 extends the Schedule End time based on the hours added to the order. The Promised Time is not changed. Technically yes, What I was referring to is that when you promise and appointment (like: in at 8 and out at 5:30 that afternoon) The customer perceives that as "...

Re: Scheduler 7.0.3 Update
This "state" only helps if: 1) you hover over the screen and 2) you go into the appointment and manually set it.Johnny5 wrote:
The old scheduler "automatically" changed from estimate to RO upon arrival then to Invoice upon completion, allowing us to - at a glance - understand the workload.

Re: Scheduler 7.0.3 Update
Well-responded Tim. Good management. I must add that I can feel the pain of that last contributor, almost line for line. In his defense, we here believe that whoever designed this scheduler must have been a dental hygienist or something :-) It is very frustrating to no longer be able to load my shop...

Re: Scheduler 7.0.3 Update
Toward the bottom of the appointment start window there is a "Promised time" that grays out (no longer editable) that has nothing to do with the "promised time" of the appointment - it appears to default to the date you create the appointment. Please correct this to defaulting to one of the promised...

Re: Scheduler 7.0.3 Update
From my testing the promised time comes from the setting in Setup setup.jpg This is the "Default" hour, so that, like us, if you promise everything by the end of the day it can be set to start there for you (less data entry). Promised times are then reset to what the customer specifically requests ...

Re: Scheduler 7.0.3 Update
The latest thing I've noticed is that no matter what time is promised on either the appointment - or the estimate - it makes up a PROMISED date which is likely the date it was created...not promised ... as in Les Roberts' appt. screen shot

Re: Scheduler Workload Visibility
I believe the plan is to implement Symptoms on the appointment next. Thanks for your feedback though. It is always helpful to our Product Management when deciding on what should be worked on next. Why would you need to add those functions to the appointment scheduler- when creating an estimate or r...

Re: Scheduler Workload Visibility
Thanks for all your hard work on this. Can I suggest that the little red pop-up that says the "ENDS is before the STARTS" not pop up right in the way of the work you are doing? Better yet, wait, just give us time to finish, we'll probably get it right ourselves...and only pop up a warning when we go...

Scheduler Changes Promised Times?
Caution: Scheduler (at least v .03) will change promised times by itself. (Use caution before you upset your customers). When you set an appointment (in at 8 and out at 5:30 for instance) and then sell an oil change or a cabin filter or something, it will add the sold hours to its little cyber world...

Re: Scheduler Feedback & Requests
Wondering why when "all day" is selected the appointment takes up such a small place at the top of the selected day? Visually that leaves the technician available for other appointments to fill in. Wouldn't it be better to have an "all day" event/appointment fill all the technicians time slots for ...
