All returned parts are tracked here.

Thank you. I thought it was way too complicated through Mitchel 1 and it would take a lot of effort to make the taxes, etc work.

Re: Manager SE 7.1.7 Release Feedback

Carrie, If you are running 7.1.7 now, you can turn off the Auto Adjust Appointment Time globally. Simply go to the Configurations menu > Scheduler Setup > Scheduler Options. You'll see the option to stop automatic growth. As for your second question, simply changing the start time will not automati...

Re: Manager SE 7.1.7 Release Feedback

I am not sure about using the auto adjust in the appointment screen. When I am moving the appointment to a new time it still has a box popping up that says "date time error end date should be later than starts". I also called to find out how to turn off the auto adjust time and was told that could o...

Re: Glitch With 7.1.7

I recently upgraded my Manager program to 7.1.7 and noticed an issue when typing in the "Work Performed" box. I'm usually verbose in describing what was done and once I get past 4 lines when I hit enter to start a new sentence I'm taken to the top of the page, or where the first sentence is. Hittin...

Re: New Plate Decoder Allows Duplicate VIN

I just came from a development planning meeting and discussed this issue. We are fixing it, I don't have a timeline but will fit it in to an already full schedule. Try using F3 to search for duplicates. I am not sure how that works. If you enter the new license plate # with the F3 it tells you it h...

Re: New Plate Decoder Allows Duplicate VIN

Thanks JD. Trying to NOT use it until it is repaired, but I love this feature soo much it's hard to resist. I feel the same way. I just spoke to Mitchel Support again about it and they said NOT to use it.... I really, really love this feature. But..............it does not catch the duplicate...

Re: Multiple Tax Jurisdictions

Carrie, There may be a way to work around this, which is probably what you're doing now. Sticking with your example, the first line here is marked as non-taxable, and the second is taxed normally. If I'm misunderstanding this scenario still, could you provide a link to the Washington state tax legi...

I created a GL code for our GL Fleet Discounts, I am not sure what I did incorrectly, as the discounted amount is showing on the cash summary report as income received. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you Kathy Kathy: That is also how I do it per Mitchell Supports suggestion. I put in the comm...

Re: Multiple Tax Jurisdictions

Thank you. I think Washington has a unique situation because it is by dollar amount and not by item. So...they could have a single item that is $250. However, because they have a $100 deductible only $100 is subject to sales tax. The remaining $150 is not. It is usually even more complicated than th...

How do you calculate the different taxes if only some of the things are subject to tax but not others?

Re: Multiple Tax Jurisdictions

We collect State Sales Tax, County Sales Tax and City Sales Tax. But not everything we collect State Sales Tax on is collected for the county or the city. Sometimes I am collecting for just the state and the county, and sometime I am collecting just for the state. How do I get this tax liability re...

Re: Wish List For New Scheduler

Wish List - 1) Schedule at a glance! Same as everyone else. 2) To be able to tab through the appointment time when scheduling. To not have a warning at the appointment time through every change. 3) Turn off the giant block of time. 4) Have a one day look back for shop events like we do for appointme...

Re: Tips To Make This Scheduler Work

You can use the appointment tab for a quick glance for the day. Go to "Scheduler Options" and change the look back to back one day. It will give you yesterday and all appointments forward. You can drag the headings to be in the order you would like them. Once the time has passed the appointment turn...

Re: Tips To Make This Scheduler Work

If the resources fields were adjustable for width this would likely work great for us. I tried setting it up for waiting, loaner 1, loaner 2 and unassigned. But with most of the appointments in the unassigned area it gets so cramped in that one 1/4 of the schedule it isn't really useful for me. If ...

So there are 2 parts, the time the people are supposed to show up, and how long we estimate their vehicle to be in the shop. So If I schedule six 4 hour appointments in the morning everything gets so narrow I can't tell who it is, or what it is for. It is impossible to determine, at a glance how ma...
