Re: Shop Management Crash
Tried another client & we could not re-create the issue. Called Tech Support, no resolution to-date but appears to be PC related.

Shop Management Crash
I was searching the PO's for some parts that needed to be returned and stumbled upon a crash. Seems to be consistent. Click P.O.s -> Search - > click the ALL radio button -> enter a Part No. that's not going to be found in your system (obviously I didn't start by searching bogus P/N's) -> Search. I ...

Coolant Exchange Machine?
Our old two cylinder Palmcrest Inc. Coolant Exchange Machine has more than paid its due. Looking to replace it. Like anything else you may buy we're looking for a system where parts are readily available. What are you folks using, if you had to purchase a new one would you get the same?

PRINT DIALOG BOX CHANGES
Has anyone experienced the print dialog change after applying the latest round of Microsoft Updates to Windows 11? If my memory serves correct the print dialog box (from within RO click Worksheet -> then click the print button @ top of screen). The title of the dialog is "Printing from Win32 applica...

Grey out manufacture date
While not urgent it would be nice to see the Manufacture Date greyed out when entered on the Vehicle tab similar to how E-mail is handled on the Customer tab. Leave the field white (not entered) then grey out when entered. There have been a few times the Manufacture Date has been changed mistakenly ...

Labor total not updating with charged hours
Is anyone else exeriencing this? If you apply a Canned Job with Charged Hrs. & a Labor Total pre-configured to a RO then adjusts the Charged Hrs. the Labor Total does not adjust accordingly. Shouldn't it adjust? It does if you manually add a Labor line fill in the fields and go back and adjust the C...

Re: CREATE SPECIAL ORDER DIRECTLY FROM SCHEDULE
Not to be forgotten, as I believe it has been requested previously, the ability to create an SO and/or attach an SO to an existing entry in the Schedule. As the scenario stands today, assuming an entry already exists in the Schedule you have to: 1. Create the SO 2. Build the SO, adding parts & labor...

Re: CREATE SPECIAL ORDER DIRECTLY FROM SCHEDULE
Yup. This was mentioned almost 2 years ago. https://managerforum.buymitchell1.net/viewtopic.php?f=233&t=14012&hilit=special+order I'm thinking SO usage is not high enough to qualify for the change. Hopefully I'm wrong. Ric, ever since you explained them awhile back we've been all over SO's. We woul...

CREATE SPECIAL ORDER DIRECTLY FROM SCHEDULE
It would be very helpful to be able to right-click on the Schedule and be able to create an SO.

Re: QUICK JOB LIST
If you are talking about the Canned Job List... In a RO right-click on an open line and the Canned Job List should show up. To add to the Canned Job List click Utilities -> Canned Jobs then select a Category then Search. TO ADD JOBS TO THE LIST: Double-Click or Edit a Job then check the Checkbox for...

Re: PARTS HANDLING - MULTIPLE ORDERS
Now I see what you're saying. Since there is no Save on the Order screen, I believe you're suggesting Exit and then re-opening the RO. Is that quantity issue on the PO of received or in the Repair Order as meeting the quantity required or not? Repair Order. Got it; the Order screen seems to want a ...

Re: PARTS HANDLING - MULTIPLE ORDERS
The point that I was attempting to make is that you MUST exit or save the RO before attempting the follow-on PO or PO's else the system doesn't properly calculate quantities. Now I see what you're saying. Since there is no Save on the Order screen, I believe you're suggesting Exit and then re-openi...

Re: PARTS HANDLING - MULTIPLE ORDERS
We've run into this a few times and sometimes it works as desired, sometimes not. It happens with various parts where multiples are orders. Using wheel/lug nuts as an example. Scenario: (20) wheel/lug nuts are ordered over the phone from the parts house. As an example (4) arrive 1st as they were so...

Re: PARTS HANDLING - MULTIPLE ORDERS
This is how we do it...... Scenario: 20) wheel/lug nuts are ordered over the phone from the parts house. 20 lugnuts are manually entered on the RO. A PO is manually created using PickList for all 20. When 4 arrive we receive 4. When the rest arrive we receive the rest. Close the PO. (this assumes a...

Re: Update 8.4.0.127 Question
If you go to the computer you'd like to be the one to trigger the Database Validations, Configuration -> Special Maintenance -> Database Backup and Validation.
