My question is why wouldn't you use REV 9? Easier than history. I have clients that only get an LOf 2 times a year but also come in for tires, belts, leaks, etc. If it has been 2-3 visits since the LOF then I would have to page thru hist to find it.

I have Snap ON Blue Point YA3000D tool for inner tie rods. Have not done a Pilot but it has worked on everything I have needed it for since I bought it. Might be worth looking into.

First time customer. Needs LOF. Look up filter, oil weight and amount. Transfer to EST. Convert to RO. Copy and paste to Rev 9. Convert to inv and pay. Customer comes back in 3 months. Due for LOF again. Start EST. Open REV. Copy and paste REV 9 to EST. Easy peasy.

Guthrie how did you come to the conclusion it is an SL? I have had vehicles in that had body repairs made with newer model parts that were badged incorrectly. I have also seen dealers add badges to "create" an unique model.

I would be interested as well. I try to assign parts and labor to all jobs. Would like to see what I missed.

Silky I just went into Sure Track to check out your instructions. When I click the Enter A Tip tab all I get is an empty white box. Cant click into it..cant get it to open to add anything.

Not sure I understand. I get a part from xyz and enter it on the RO with the vendors inv number.. I write a check. End of day everything transfers to QB. Now what keeps me from opening QB and writing a check for that part invoice?

See thats what I dont understand..when I put in intake air temp sensor it comes back with nothing found. Had to go to air charge temp sensor. Even then the diag in 2007 was for a MAF. Mitchell shows this vehicle to have air temp sensor as part of the mass airflow sensor. Problem is this one has no maf...air temp is integral with MAP. Went all the way up to 2009 to find the correct info.

Never mind..figured it out. I was having a senior moment.

Really don't like the new SureTrack. Before you could enter a code and have common failures come with with their frequiency. Can't seem to find that function anymore????

Thanks Tim. I spoke to a friend that is a programmer about back Office. He knows my computer knowledege and suggested I go with it, but also advised to give it a bit to see if anything like this popped up. Will keep checking back.

I am curious...is this a program bug or a setting error. Really want to go with this program but I have little patience when it comes to this kind of stuff.
