Those cardones are rebuilt sensor and are garbage.ssorry. there is no way to rebuid a maf sensor. Sad to say but yes you gotta go oe. They are not actually rubuilding those sensor im almopst positive they are just taking them apart and cleaning them then gluing them back together. been there done th...

were are the maf coming from? OE? New? gotta be a bad one again. I dont work on mercedes but it isnt with in range it is defective. Is anything getting on the sensor? Just ideas

You can use propane also this old thing I would be careful but I would bet it is a vac leak all the other places wanted to do was swap parts. You could have a defective new part but I would lean towards a vac leak

Ive only seen this on the 3 valve engiens. I use a tool made by lisle that I believe rich told me about and so far so good. It pushes the ceramic left into the tip of the plug and then threads in and pulls the excess out. I have used that rotunda tool from ford and ooff what a pain in the %*#. Plus ...

90% of the time you will know more then the dealership. There techs are typically not well versed and not nearly as qualified or skilled as us.

Here is how I do payroll (every thursday). I print a technician productivity page for each tech. I review all jobs and mark off any that were paid on the previous week (or partially paid in the previous week) (ie the head example). I also add any jobs that they have completed but that are not closed...

I would block off the lines and check. I have never had any issues bleeding these. Just because a part is new doesnt make it good.
