Should be ok.

What are the fuel trims?

The tool fits ok. You just have to be extra careful to keep it straight. Not fun, but doable.

We repair them all the time. We use the Time Sert kit.

Thanks for helping Ric. I originally thought the same thing but while researching indentafix, several post indicated the purple wire is the 5v supply wire. I also dont have a wire in the #13 cavity. Totaly confused at this point. If I were still a drinking man Im sure a bottle of smirinoff would he...

I agree. The heater core and valve are in parallel with the cooling curcuit, not in series. You should be able to completely block that circuit with virtually no effect. Unless there is something peculiar about this vehicle.

Also, only the diesel uses the buffer module. It needs that to use passlock to shut the fuel pump down during theft. I think in gas models they just shut of injector pulse.

Re: 97 Dodge Neon 2.0 runs rich

12.5 is too low. Low vacuum is causing extra fuel to be dumped. That is why your o2 is .9. That is why your trims are taking fuel away. The car is confused.

Check for the engine being out of time or maybe the exhaust restricted first.

Re: Naming Canned Jobs

I agree with Paul. Because there is no engine identifier, I do not make canned jobs specific like this. I use canned jobs for generic work only. It's just my personal preference. If I didn't have all these quick electronic catalogs I might change, but it's so easy to look up parts that it just doesn...

Re: 1994 Honda Civic EX - A/C Problem

Yes. I have one. The compressor is controlled by 2 items according to the wiring diagram in OD5. The high/low combo pressure switch (located lf) and the AC thermostat(behind glovebox). These should be easy to confirm whether they have power, ground and functioning. I'd start there. There is also a t...

Re: Naming Canned Jobs

Lee, One thing I have been using canned jobs for is service bulletin repairs. If there is a service bulletin that requires parts and labor and we perform it once, I make it into a canned job. I label that job with the TSB number. Now if we are to do a TSB, I type the TSB number into my canned jobs t...

Re: Broken Bolts on GM Products

just a tip here. i purchased the otc tool that can heat metal through a magnetic (i think) field. you just place the probe on the bolt and step on the pedal. i've used this on 1/4" bolts and up to 3/4" ones. it makes heating close quarter areas a snap and there is no chance of "collateral" damage. ...
