Re: No cost - no text

I have tried this in the past. But It seems when I do it they don't come back for some reason. I will just keep doing it. No one has complained about it. For me the documentation is more important than the inconvenience of sending an unneeded text.

No cost - no text

I like to document things. Maybe to much. That includes things like a customer just came in, we scanned his CEL quick, I documented the code and gave him a copy. He will be in next week to "dig deeper". But every time I do this the customer gets a thank you text. That's not a big deal over all. But ...

Consumer Has Opted into Texting

In the last few weeks I have been getting emails about consumers opting into texting. Is this something new? I am just deleting the emails, do I suppose to be doing something with these?

Asking for a friend. :?

Re: Deleting Custom Spell Check Words

I know there is a way. I had that same issue here in the past and I am thinking Tim told me a way. If I remember right it isn't a thing you do in the M1 system, but in your computer data base.

No, I haven't bothered them with this. I figure I will try and document some more and maybe give them a fighting chance of having something to work with.

Re: EST Convert to Revision?

Ok, that does make sense to me, I guess the "re-focus" is something I do and didn't really realize I was doing it. However, you Honor, I much point out I DID include that step in the "how to" gibberish I posted above. please allow me to share exhibit "A" "click copy. Open revision, high light top li...

Re: Repairlink ordering from wrong place

Here is a screen shot of the last few RL orders. Shows nothing about the order that I made yesterday from K&M for the sway bar bushings. It also does not show anywhere where "I ordered" (which i didn't) bushings from Pfieffer yesterday.

Should I simply just smash the computer?

Re: Repairlink ordering from wrong place

Ok...so we are having some HUGE issues again. Anyone else? Yesterday I order part number 4792990AC from K&M Dodge PO number 43726. Part number 2T1Z5493A comes in from Pfeiffer Ford Po number 43534. (both sway bar bushings) Side note, when we order a part we use the RO number and name. IE 43726.H&R s...

Strange...mine works fine. I never remember the crtl/? options, so I ALWAYS have used the "edit" pull down.

Re: EST Convert to Revision?

And to add to that. I find it helpful to also copy and paste any oil change information to revision nine. Then the next time this car comes in for an oil change simply go to revision and copy and paste. Saves looking it all back up again. Just remember to not "sell" the revision as that will clear t...

Re: EST Convert to Revision?

On the top line of information, click the left mouse button ON HOLD. Drag to bottom line of information. Release mouse button. Then go to top of screen and click on EDIT, click copy. Open revision, high light top line, go back to EDIT and click paste. Go back to the Estimate and delete the informati...

Not sure this link will help you or not, it is what I had to use when we upgraded our system. You may have already done this.
